Can anyone help me out here, I'm unsure of what I need to do, I have all the stuff that came with it back in the original box, where do I send it or whatever and do I need to contact somebody?

Also is it possible that this would take less than a month?

I appreciate all the help.

For some reason I can't post at the official PS.com boards right now so I thought you guys might know.

Quickest and most re-assuring way is to go to Gamestop and get a refurbished one

I wouldn't really bother with any of the first party repairs mainly due to the fact that they can mis-diagnose the problem and fixxing one could cost as much as a new system. It's going to take aleast a month to get it back, I've delt with the same situation with my PS1.

However I just sent it with a Cardboard box w/ all the controllers and cords and a little memo on whatw as wrong with it after talking to their tech support people on the phone

It's the slim one that I bought back in April, so I believe it's still under the year warrantee, or i'd be pretty ticked given how little use I've put into it.

Any number I should call first/addresses to send it to, etc?

I believe I'm owed either a new or fixed model.

Appreciate the feedback.

I think most Slackers stores fixes them, all you'd have to do to my knowledge is just drive up to one though I'm not sure how long it would take to fix one.

It's 750001, unfortunately, so I'm not covered under the adaptor replacement thing.

I really don't even get what the problem is, it just won't start up. The dang on/restart button turns green for like 2 seconds and then back to standby (red) when I push it. It always worked fine before. For who was wondering I meant I didn't put a lot of play time into it since I bought it, as opposed to people who play daily. It might have gone a week and a half or more without being touched by me. And I bought it new from Wal-Mart, so..

Well, if you have to get another one trade your broken one in at Gamestop if you don't want it or can't get it to work, because they'll probably assume that it works even after you get your credit, I know this because I think my broken Dreamcast is probably collecting dust at one.
