here's my idea.

his "moral" code would be:
1. insanity does not excuse evil.
2. only kill those who: there's no hope for. who the police won't kill no matter what they do, or there is no they keep escaping from prison.

ulike other viglantes, he would find no diffrence with his sceret idenity and his viglante idenity, and the only thing he would do to hide it is wear a mask. he knows this will be his undoing. his only motive would for other strangers. {i'll add more if i can think of more.}

his name would be...

VIGLANTE MAN!!

What do ya think?
:D

It sounds like an interesting idea, but he should be "AniGen Board Man" which is where he'll be sent since he doesn't relate to Batman, Superman or Batman Beyond.

I know you're a newbie, so I'll just let you know that we have different boards to keep subjects separate. This is perfect for the AniGen (Animation and General) Board.

Never fear, Vigilante Man! A mod will be in to move you shortly. :)

Austin. I like your idea. Sounds like an idea I had for a character called THIRTEEN. Why? Well, he's extremely unlucky for evil. A small silver "13" pin identified him.

Over the years I've created a number of my own, and one, in particular (not Thirteen) that might have a chance to go somewhere. What I like about mine is that he could exist. The stories are real, the problems, the clashes...everything is real. I've been working on it for about a year now, and I think I have something nearly ready to present. The only thing is, I'm not sure WHERE to present it. It's not PG. It might be R. It's realistic, and much of it is true. So until I find a place to deploy my creation, I must keep him in the dark.

I have my own guy that I created too, and I bet he could kick YOUR guy's ass. :D

he probaly could because I don't know his powers or what he looks like. I'm not very creative. {that's why he doesn't have a real name, hope you got a few laughs outta that one :D}

hmm... maybe he could swipe the azrael suite from the cave. but it was probaly destroyed in the quake.

what's your idea?

I always thought it wuold be cool to do a story about a "hero" that exsists in the real world- he's not overly rich, superhuman, or anything like that. He doesn't even have to have a name. Just someone who knows the streets and what it takes to get by on them.... I know, that's really close to a lot of heroes that already exsist, but this could be so much different.... now the creative juices are flowing :D

I actually made a character called The Vigilante a couple years back. His design looked a bit like Nightwing. With a big V strip across his chest and back.

His backstory was that he was a strait arrow rookie cop, named Keith, in a Gotham-like ultra crimeridden city. Keith's veteran partner and some of his cronies tried to kill him when he stumbled across their crooked dealings. They thought Keith was dead, but he was only seriously injured, suffering from massive brain trauma.

A friend, Joe, drove the injured Keith far out of the city to his uncles house, where recieved medical attention. During his recovering, hiding out in the country, Keith discovered that he suffered from spurts of temporary amnesia, which ranged in sceriousness; from forgetting what he was just thinking about, to forgetting his own name, where he was, etc. But, on the plus side Keith could hear people thoughts. And could project his own thoughts to a lesser degree.

At first Keith became the Vigilante simply to bring the cops who tried to kill him to justice, but her realized that the mental advatages he now posessed were invaluable to him as a law enforcer. And knowing the pain, evil or need of those around him, he felt compelled to act.

Once he put away the crooked cops and felt more comfortable with his mental abilities and disadavntges he became the vigilante full time. He took on a partner soon after; to take the edge of his memory weakness. I'll get to him later. ;)

It's not about ass-kicking. Actually I'm not sure WHAT it's about. I just know where he came from. And what he does. Anyway, Thirteen is just a guy with a shotgun. But even my first-stringer would probably get beat by a decent martial artist.

Okay, I checked the rules and there are no rules saying you can't have back and forth converstions with yourself so here I go.

Is there a charticter named "Danger?"

Batman: Sure, you only kill villans who desrive to die, but soon you'll be conviced that EVERY crook desirves to die, and then you'll cross the line and kill every thug you come across!
Danger: Oh no, I have dreams, and a bunch of VR crap at home to keep that in check.

You have all given me an idea for the storyboard component of my portfolio for animation school. I'm going to put me in working on a project on a generic Vigilante Man. Thanks, dudes!
