...or something to that effect.

Nickolodeon.

Please.

Stop.

Showing.

This.

Commercial.

It's driving me mad! It all started when I was watching "Avatar". Right after a serious moment, suddenly this stupid "Kangaroo Jack" commercial comes on! With fart jokes! Hilarious! I had to edit it off my tape!

I'm serious! I can't stand that commercial! I thought it was over when they showed it the first time--but they're showing the @#$% movie AGAIN? What's wrong with this world! :ack:

In my opinion Nicks just airing it again to boost ratings from the kiddies and I can see how it annoys you, CN airs alot of stupid commercials and I think McDonalds is one of their major sponsors or something because they always advertise McDonalds. You're asking "Whats wrong with the world?" eh? Well its not "the world" but more of like "The TV networks". :D

I KNOW. I hate that commercial. That's Nick for you, always taking the high road. I'm so glad Disney is starting to take away Nick's audience. Kids (and kids at heart) deserve better than what Nick's offering these days.

Please don't take this argument the wrong way, Judy, but how is Hanna Montanna and That's So Raven any better then what Nick has?

I was speaking primarily of image. Nick has used vulgarity as its selling point to kids for a long time. Disney has mostly avoided that, for the most part. And you gotta love a network that has at least one toon where the parents in it aren't morons. Kim Possible's mom and dad are, respectively, a brain surgeon and a rocket scientist. Sure it's a gag, but it's a refreshing change from the all-adults-are-dimwits schtick Nick has on just about every one of their shows.

Awe yes what judyindisguise said is in fact true, and I will say this some of those live action shows on Disney are better compared to Nick live action shows now and day's. And yes please stop airing this freakin movie Nick, its annoying the crud out me, even worse Nick at Night airs a movie repeat. Its not going to get ratings, if any thing they will drop becuase of the movie. And I say good riddens, Nick has def gone down the drain since the 90's.

Kangaroo Jack's a terrible movie, anyways. But I do agree with the commercial hate. It makes me cringe.

Kangaro Jack was made in 2003.

2003.

Three YEARS ago!

There is no reason to keep showing us the commercial right now, since pretty much everyone who was going to watch it has seen it already.

Well the commerical was used for when Nickelodeon (for god knows what reason) started airing the Movie as part of they're Nickelodeon Summer Movie Special thing. However since Kangaroo Jack has already aired and already aired it's Friday repeat I don't think you'll be seeing it again, unless it gets ANOTHER showing on Fridays this summer. Nickelodeon won't bother promoting it anymore afterwards if they ever show the movie again: that just be wasting money. (Although any of the choices they've made for Summer Life action movie are wasting money: I could understand being lazy and airing "What A GIrl Wants" again, but why show "Sabrina Goes To Rome?" Regular Nickeldoeon has nothing to do with the Sabrinia series anymore and it dosen't even have any strong ties to Nick at all).

I despise this commercial more than Yaffa. ZOMG! Fart jokes! Did you hear that kids? FART JOKES!

I hate it when nick tries to gain appeal with grossness. They stopped for a while and now they're coming back full force with this and the vomit-inducing mr meaty.

Ah, just like those Nicktoons "We really get into character" ads. Wow, two of those have a fart-in-an-elevator joke. Not to mention those bumpers on "how to fart in class."
Like they said in South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut; "Don't worry kids, you'll still get to see plenty of fart jokes on Nickelodeon."

Just to let you all know before I say this I am not mocking Avatar but more of "parodying" it. I'm surpirised there hasn't been anything on South Park with them making fun of a show called "Ashatar, The last fartbender", if I knew how to contact the creators of South Park I'd gladly pitch them that idea. :D

Vulgar and Grossout humor has gotten really boring and repetitive. Kangaroo Jack is also a very random movie to air, and it's not really a great movie either. If you think fart jokes on Nick are bad then you should see that dumb Zortogs skit from this recent season of All That, where the aliens running the restaurant capture certain humans and kill them to serve their flesh as "meat" for their "human" customers! And they expect people to find that funny!? I'm not even gonna talk about that digusting Filthy Chef skit. It's no wonder Season 10 bombed.

I wonder why not alot of US cartoons try British humor, I mean you have to find some humor of a guy making a big deal out of being attacked by a bannana. But yea, the only Y7 cartoon in the states I can think of that hasn't fallen victim to fart jokes is Xiaolin Showdown.

If you didn't like that alien sketch then you would hate "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweeney_Todd_%28musical%29)

THANK. GOD.

(There has been toilet humor, but only in the episodes with Cyclops for some reason.)

But, what about TMNT?

That sketch is just like Sweeney Todd except it's the worst comedy sketch I have ever seen.

Shouldn't it be "Ashatar, the last windbender"? :D

Shouldn't it be "Ashatar, the last windbender"? :D Well, if they said "fart" it'd sound more of they're mocking Nickelodeans common fart jokes, and when I say "Ash" I'm using a less offensive version the "A" curse word used for someones butt. I wouldn't be surprised if Nick decided to make a series that ripped off Ren and Stimpy and had the same jokes, just toned down a little. :D

If you're going to go 'Ashatar' you might as well add another 'S' to complete the joke.

Although I'm wondering how this subject came up in the first place...

No, I mean, we were talking about that painfully obnoxious "And...Musical Kangaroos" commercial and then all of a sudden we're talking about Avatar parodies.

I guess the original subject got boring or something. To those who think Nick was only good in the 90's don't forget Angry Beavers, that lasted from '97 to '03. And to those who think "Bye Bye Beavers" was an episode it was planned but never made, I know this because I e-mailed ol' Mitch himself. Now lets get back to the discussion on excessive fart jokes on Nick so we get back on topic. :D
