All of you may have heard that 4kids Entertainment and DIC Productions are the two front runners for the FOX network's 4 hour Saturday Morning block. We all know that this will be determined by who throws out the MOST MONEY. But let's pretend that you are the Fox executive that's making the decision and money's not an objective, but rather programming. Which one would you pick? Dic or 4kids? Feel free to discuss.

My pick is for Dic. We need some good comedy/adventure cartoons and Dic has a history in that field with Inspector Gadget, Sonic the Headgehog and others. 4kids to me is Pokemen run of the mill stuff.

While neither one is my first choice right now I'd say Dic, if only because they have a much larger library.

Though it would be very interesting if 4kids walks away with the block. Think about what it would do to kidsWB if 4kids were able to yank it's shows (Pokemon, Cardcaptors, Cubix, and I think Yu-Gi-Oh [sp?]) off the network. Or while not so devastating, if they didn't remove the shows right away I doubt that 4kids would be offering kidsWB any new shows anytime soon.

I'm rooting for 4Kids in the hope that they do yank their shows off KWB. Then maybe KWB will return to its WBA roots.

It's funny you mention KWB returning to their WBA roots. Next season, KWB may have 5 WBA animated series (at least) on their schedule - if Static and Zeta return next season. Scooby-Doo, Ollie & Drix, and Ninja Turtles will also be WBA animated - which gives me a good feleing that KWB may actually be watchable next year. I'm prety sure we'll get a season 3 of Static, but not so sure about Zeta...
