Instead of continuing with the DBGT lost episodes, DBZ will be replacing it at 12:30 AM starting with the episode "Battle in Kami's Lookout". I'm not a big fan of the Garlic Jr. saga, but atleast we can maybe reach some of season 4.
ANYTHING is better than the DBGT lost episodes, so I'm thrilled with this change.

Glad you posted this up. This is good news and hopefully we do get to see some of Season 4. :anime:

So what's gonna take IGPX's spot once it's finished?

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that Dragon Ball Z will be airing on Cartoon Network again. Maybe we'll be able to see the Android and Cell sagas again through this airing.

Wonderful news. DBGT is a terrible show but I'll be watching DBZ even if it's Garlic Jr. Saga. In hopes of seeing season 4 again.

Oh god, thank you CN. The Garlic Jr. sucks but, if we can get Season 4, I'll be happy.
I would be even happier if it aired on Toonami, but I'll take this.

Well, there goes the GT talkback...
You know, perhaps I'll make a talkback for the DBZ Midnight Run as well...

Hopefully another show that hasn't finished it's run before it was booted off.
Except for Transformers: Cybertron. That show deserves the red carpet, if they give Pokemon Chronicles a break it'll be the perfect way to kick off the block. The final episodes are incredible.
And what else can they air?
Battle B-Daman
Wulin Warriors
Duel Masters
I'm missing stuff aren't I?
I doubt they'll dig as far back as Knights of the Zodiac and Zoids Fuzors, though. Even though I'm dying to see the rest of both (too lazy to buy Saint Seiya DVD's and Region 4 Zoids Fuzors.)

Battle B-Daman - Possible. There's still about 39 episodes left to air anyways (and the final episode never aired on Jetix ether).
Wulin Warriors - Despite the complaints you'll get for even uttering it's name, it still has to air 11 episodes (and I'd like to see how those would've turned out). But, why not throw in D.I.C.E. while we're at it?
Duel Masters - The best replacement as it still has two episodes left and it's the newest one to be kicked off.
CN, why can't you just call this the Midnight Run already?
Though, I would've liked for the GT run to at least get to the unaired episode (episode 16) that BOTH Toonami and General CN skipped.

Awesome, DBZ returns! I can't wait to see the arrival of Trunks. That's one of my favorite parts in the series.

Besides the last of Duel Masters I'd vote NONE of the above.

When I saw Wulin Warriors on li_mangaman's list, I thought that you'd be the first one to speak against it. :p
Hey, I just had an idea of what could replace IGPX:
Megaman NT Warrior
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
Reruns of Zatch Bell (The most likely)

The Namek saga has played WAY too many times.
However, the Cell saga (except the Trunks episodes, the first few Android episodes, and the USSJ Trunks VS Cell fight, all of which were some of the final episodes to be shown on weekday Toonami) has only been played two times.
Welcome to the forums Da Butter Toast! (Edit: Ok, you've been here for a month, but still, WELCOME!)
(Jeez, what's with all the new guys lately? Normally we get one every other week, but lately we seem to be getting two every day!)

Reruns of Zatch Bell (The most likely)
Reruns of Zatch Bell! should go to Miguzi from where Miguzi left off until it's caught up to Toonami, then Miguzi should make a Friday special block already with Zatch Bell! encores. The same with BoBoBo after Zatch Bell!'s guz premieres are over, or Pokemon Chronicles all week at 4:30PM. And if they want to make the Friday block more eventfuland not make 'Toonami faithful' cry they could put the Battle Frontier premieres here too, as well as Capsule Monsters in late 2006. Perhaps like this:
4:00PM Any CN Action show encore
4:30PM Pokemon Chronicles (all week)
5:00PM Zatch Bell! encore
5:30PM Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters
There's also the fate of 4:00PM after KND. That could also be BoBoBo.
Besides the last of Duel Masters I'd vote NONE of the above.
Then just don't watch it. Battle B-Daman's pretty good IMO, but yea I'll admit Wulin Warriors is bad, but that doesn't mean I'm not curious.
But, why not throw in D.I.C.E. while we're at it?
It's on DVD. I have it. You can get it fairly easily. You can't get a DVD for the rest of those shows with the unaired episodes. In fact you can't even get a Wulin Warriors DVD, and the only Battle B-Daman DVD that exists only includes episodes 1 and 2.

Personally I'm hoping for an IGPX rerun airing.
With all the movies Toonami has line-up along with those Miyazaki films I think using 1AM for movie re-airings would be great.

Unfortunately, not anymore. And considering that the toys are on clearence everywhere I doubt Hasbro is going to push the series. The only way I could see them doing that is if they bring the Fire Spirits or Crash series here along with their toyline, and they make a solid timeslot on CN for Battle B-Daman, then show Fire Spirits then Crash. And who knows, maybe Takara Tomy has another series in the works after Crash.

Anime fails when it's not with other anime.
Proof:
Super Milk Chan (I bet someones going to tell me that nothing could've saved it)
Transformers: Energon on Miguzi (Same)
Battle B-Daman (It would've helped if it was next to TF: Cybertron, or Duel Masters)
Not to mention that something thats target audience is the same as Toonami's (If it's not then why would they parody a show for the same audience in a joke that would ONLY be funny if you saw the source.) Plus BoBoBo does have some action, I mean, I enjoy the fight scenes a lot, even if the humor is not always the funniest thing in the world, or even if the humor is more suitable for Fridays.

DBZ's back woohoo.
As for a show to replace IGPX, didn't Cyborg 009 still have episodes left? (Don't know if CN still has the rights to that one.)

At this point Pokemon has really made its way out of mainstream anime, as in its popularity is comparable to the popularity of just anime in general. It's always the exception. Yu-Gi-Oh! has not yet made it to be as popular, but it could also be on a block with no anime.
But I think I should explain myself further. You got a show that makes fun of a show that your veiwers watch and might find funny. You'll want them to watch it on your block. Where the veiwers will actually have a better chance of getting the jokes (and more importantly, tuning in every week.)

Speaking of which, didn't that Aquisition lady say that they were thinking of getting Yu-Gi-Oh season 5?

Well they did start Waking The Dragons, so they better finish that first of all. I still need to see it. Weeknight Yu-Gi-Oh! was pretty good.

I'd say another exception is Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. It didn't have any Anime on with it at various times. Both Poke'Mon and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX have had Zatch Bell and One Piece air on the blocks with them at various times though.
