FINALLY! the new issue is out. So, comments on it? With only two issues leftm, how do you think the series will pan out..?

Well, I really wanna disucss this issue so I might as well take the intiative. I think the pair of eyes peering at James and Rose during the bath is none other than 'Dog'. But you ask...where are the scars? Well, I still think that Dog is somewhow Sabretooth. Maybe Dog eventually dies his hair blonde or whatever, but I think Dog may still be Sabretooh. And this would explain the lack of scars on his face.

Then again, the yes could just be the cook's...

For some reason I was thinking the eyes were Logan's. I'll have to reread that part. I really liked the issue, tho. We get to see the start of Logan's powers take his mind in a more feral direction. The hunt was great. Andy Kubert's art has always been really good, but here it's been GREAT. I'm just wondering what we'll seen in the next two issues, how far it will go. But still, I'm intrigued.

No, the eyes were definitely not Logan/Wolverine's. It was some peering wantingly at the red-head. At first I thought it was Dog, but then I was thinking it was the cook. So I'm not real sure at this point.

I think it's being intentionally left a mystery. I still thing Dog is tracking them. I want to know what happened to him, and it's be fittingif Dog continued stalking them. Plus I'd like for them to reveal the obvious connection between Logan (Dog's pa) and James already...

Well, at first I thought it was James/Logan's eyes, but now that I look again they are the wrong color. Logan's are blue (in this series anyway) and the eyes in the bushes are brownish.

It wouldn't surprise me if Dog showed up before the series is over, but I think it's the cook in this issue. If you look at one of the frames after the picture of the eyes, you see a shiny black boot snapping a branch. If you look in other parts of the comic...it looks like the cook wears shiny black boots.

As for the connection with Dog's father and James...it seems obvious to me that James' mother and Dog's father got together to make little James. Perhaps there was a little child swap and Dog is actually, the son of the master of the house on the hill? hmmm...

I thought #4 was a good issue....although I'll admit I liked the first three a bit more. I'm anxious to see how it all comes out.
