It was just an angle between Undertaker and a fake Undertaker (played by Brian Lee) the whole story was pretty stupid because the fake Undertaker just showed up one day and challenged the real Undertaker to a match. Needless to say, the real Undertaker won the match.

I only wonder.

The real Undertaker desperately needed time off. This was 1994, in January or so, and UT came to the F in 1990 at the Survivor Series. UT never had a vacation until after the Royal Rumble in 1994. The match was him vs. Yokozuna for the WWF (bleep that!) title in a Casket Match. Throughout the match, UT was dominating until a gang of 10 or so superstars (headed by Diesel) came down and beat down the 'Taker. Later, Yoko opened the urn that Paul Bearer had, because Bearer was knocked out, and Taker "wilted". Taker was pushed into the casket, Yoko wins. The "Druids" brought the casket up the aisle, and then strange things happen. UT makes a speech about how he will come back, and "flies towards the heavens". A few months later, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase comes out and says he has the UT, and Paul Bearer cries foul. Who comes to solve this crime!?!?!? LESLIE NIELSEN! After series of sketches that I quote from RD Reynolds' first book, "that were as funny as repeated blows to the nuts with a blunt object", DiBiase brought out his 'Taker. This guy was a little shorter, little chubbier, and looked no where as close to Mark Calloway. The guy who played him was a guy named Brian Lee, who Calloway hand-picked and trained for this angle. Lee would go on to be in ECW and be Chainz from the Disciples of Apocolypse (DOA). Summerslam would be the setting for the match, in which the real 'Taker would defeat Underfaker by giving him 3 Tombstones. Thank god there was a Steel Cage WWF Title defense waiting in the wings for the fans who just watched that monstrosity.

And how did he get out of that coffin? Trap door, and the rising to the heavens, used a blow-up doll. It was hilarious!

It was hilarious! Thanks for the info man!You revived my memory. My god the undertaker and kane are the biggest mysteries in the history of the WWE.You know that reminds me of the weird things that happened after royal rumble '98.Can I ask you a few questions?I saw a picture of someone in an ice box or something like that and it was weird. Also did kane burn undertaker's parents coffins?and did he burn a guy on stage?

Regretfully, I do believe that the Bret/Owen cage match took place during the middle of the show. Taker/Faker ended up as the Main Event.

As far as wrestling mysteries go though, I'm still trying to deduce who drove the Hummer into Kevin Nash and who raised the briefcase in the Austin/McMahons ladder match.

I think that WWF was toying with the idea of having Chris Jericho be the guy who raised the briefcase, but decided to go in another direction. In hindsight, I'm glad. He came in on his own rather than just another McMahon lackey.

And how did he get out of that coffin? Trap door, and the rising to the heavens, used a blow-up doll. It was hilarious! A few corrections and some additional pieces of information:

-When it came to the Undertaker rising to the heavens, that was not a blow-up doll, but rather Marty Jennetty dressed up as the Undertaker.
-Leslie Nielsen didn't get involved in this until AFTER the Undertaker vs. Undertaker match was announced. The following is a summary of the events that took place in order that they happened:

1. Ted DiBiase introduced his "Undertaker"
2. Paul Bearer, in an interview, announces that he has made contact with the Undertaker
3. Paul Beaer tries to use the power of the urn on DiBiase's Undertaker, but then deduced that it's not the real one when this Undertaker was controlled by money instead of the urn
4. The "Undertaker vs. Undertaker" match was announced for Summerslam
5. Leslie Nielsen was brought in to help "solve" the mystery of this match

-Finally, when it came to the main show at Summerslam, the WWF brought a "suprise" celebrity to help Leslie Nielsen during the PPV event: the guy who played the police chief in the Naked Gun films.
