One time I saw a Twilight Zone where he was sentenced to exile on a deserted planet and his friend sneaked him a robot woman to keep him company, then he received a pardon, and there was only room for one person on the rocket to take him back to Earth, but he didn't want to go because he had fallen in love with the robot.
