Trailer. (http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/childrenofmen/)

This looks like V For Vendetta if it was written by Margrett Atwood and set in Sarajevo. Or in plain language: awesome

I most definetly agree.

BTW, Dalek have you seen the Fountain trailer yet?

I most definetly agree.

BTW, Dalek have you seen the Fountain trailer yet?Yeah and I'm affraid it was completely overshadowed in my book by this film and Chistopher Nolan's upcoming "The Prestige".

The movie is based on a book by P. D. James. I read it several years ago. It was James' first attempt at science fiction after some 40 years of writing mysteries, and the result was impressive. It's not like V For Vendetta at all; it has a much larger and less-easily-defined theme. It examines the social implications of what happens in a world where the human race suddenly and inexplicably stops reproducing.

I saw the trailer for this movie with Lady In The Water and, even though it's been close to ten years since I read the book, I recognized the story from the first 15 seconds of the trailer. I am looking forward to seeing this movie.

Re: The Prestige: the first I thought when I saw this trailer was, "Wow, Batman vs. Wolverine!" OK, not really, but try to tell me you weren't thinking it, too.

The Prestige and Children of Men look like some excellent pictures, but nothing to overtop the Fountain IMO.

Either way I think the second half of the year will be a great time for movies.
