I'm certain I can remember a Pinky & the Brain reference in Superman or Batman.

Either Bruce or Clark was on the phone with a woman who seemed to be a little bit interested in him. She says something about 'tonight.'

"Huh? What are you doing tonight?"

"The same thing we do every night, Pinky."

"Huh?"

"Nothing."

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm almost certain I heard this around the time I started watching KWB, back in '99 or so. Can anyone help me?

Barbara was talking to Bruce, in that instance. The "tonight" was Bruce asking "What are you doing tonight?" meaning they'd both be suiting up and following the lead Barbara had uncovered. The amusement followed.

A Pinky and the Brain episode (made during the first Animaniacs season) featured the mice with the "Caped Opossum", a Batman-type figure (albeit more in the vein of the Adam West version).

The mice also apparently visited the pre-Crisis Earth-1 in another episode, since they found baby Kal-El's rocket and (very briefly) raised him, but he mostly gave them grief with his superpowers...
