Warner Bros. Home Video has been releasing brochures for the upcoming Batman DVD releases to various video stores throughout North America. Here's a rundown of what they say, as well as a description of some of the DVD art:
1. Justice League
Brochure says: dvd-rom, trailer, languages (English or Spanish). Price is 19.98. The brochure has a picture of Wonder Woman crossing her arms in front of Batman and J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter, as well as the Bruce Timm illustration/poster/cover art. 60 minutes
2. Batman: The Animated Series - The Legend Begins
Brochure says: "The Joker. The Scarecrow. Poison Ivy. Batman must battle these foes in the first five eps of the award-winning show."
Also includes: How To Draw Batman, Life On The Edge game, Animation tests, Intro by Bruce Timm, trailers and more. 110 minutes. The ad is two pages that is sure to make Batman fans flip! The page header says: "Batman Returns With 4 New DVDs!"
The DVD cover art is black with red lettering, and Poison Ivy and Joker in a spotlight with a giant Batman hovering behind them. $14.95.
3. Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero
67 minutes. special features: The Hunt for Mr. Freeze game, original music montage, How to Draw Batman, intro by Bruce Timm, trailers and more.
4. The Batman/Superman Movie
68 minutes. The DVD will feature: The Joker's Challenge game, Intro by Bruce Timm, original music montage, How to draw Batman.
5. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (Edited)
Re-release of the edited version on VHS ($14.94) and DVD ($19.98). 76 minutes.
6. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (The Original, Uncut Version)
Brochure says: "Now you can see [the movie] as you've never seen before! Fans who wish to see the uncut version of the critically-acclaimed movie can now do so. Parental Guidance Suggested. 80 minutes. $19.98. Contains all of the great DVD features found in the original released version."
Street Date: April 23rd, Order Due Date: March 26th.
