Now, its hard to say what kind of deals will turn up at BestBuy, KMart, etc. but . . . I was shopping online for a couple other movies and turned up all the new Batman DVDs on pre-order for $13.99. That's at DVDempire.com and that price will be hard to beat. . .
BTW, at release, who had the cheapest price for BB:ROTJ dvd?
thanks

At the release of ROTJ....the DVD was basically non-existent. Every store was charging the same price: $19.99. In my case, I had to pay $23.99 for it (yes, I paid $23 for the EDITED version of the film)

13.99 is an excellent price. Will it stay like that I wonder.

HA! I knew these would be really cheap. I didn't expect these DVD to cost much. I ma glad to see them being produced. With WB doing an ad campaign for the series, I'm interested to see how they sell.

13.99 that's a great price.
I plan on buying JL Secret Origins and Batman Beyond Return of the Joker but if there all this price then I'll probably buy some more BTAS I hope they all release at that price

Well..I doubt if they will be $13.99. MSRP on them is $19.99 which means they'll be about $15 (probably anyway). Return of the Joker will probably run you $20 though.
Though, if Best Buy or Circuit City consider these Big Releases (Heck, 5 Batman-themed DVD's on ONE DAY...how can they just ignore that!?), they might knock them down to $12.99 on sale...but..that's just my theory!

Yeah, SRP mean just that...suggested. When it's MSRP, then you could be in trouble. I hear the "M" stands for mandatory, which means whatever the price is given, it's what it'll cost. SRP tell says the price will be around that range, but likely very lower. I don't think I'll be paying for than $80 for these DVDs.

Actually, i think the M stands for Manufactor's...so it's actually Manufactor's Suggested Retail Price...but..I guess it could go either way.. :)

You're right BB! My mistake. I always thought it meant Mandatory. Why? Becuase Paramount always had high prices on their DVDs and the price they list would alwya sbe the price I end up seeing it for on the shelves.
Thankfully that won't happen to the Justice League DVD...
