Has anyone else noticed that in the First season premiere 'Rebirth' we first see Terry McGinnus in the Elevator. The same thing for the Second Season premiere in 'Splicers'?

Also, both of them had Terry fighting a secondary villian that pretty much came back through out the entire series. In the First, 'Rebirth' he fought the Jokerz, and in 'Splicers' he fought those two guys. Both the villains did some kind of vandalism, before getting beat up by Terry.

I don't really know what the point of this post is. But I just found it interesting. Both of the seasons pretty much started the same way. I guess the writers wanted to give off a feel of continuity or something...

I don't know if this happened in the Premiere of the 3rd Season aswell, because I missed it and started watching about half way, when the Call came out.

Anyway, just seems kinda funny to me.

Well, we know that the writers ended the first season with the closure of Blight's supposed death in case it also turned out to be the last. If the parallelism you observed was intentional, it was probably meant to demonstrate that Terry was about to embark on just as intense a journey in the second season as in the first, and that Batman's job is composed of perpetual nosedives into unseen danger. The elevator most likely represents Terry's rising status as Gotham City's protector.

But it is possible we're seeing patterns that aren't there.

I don't _think_ Splicers was meant as a season premiere, I think it was just the ep KWB chose to air first. I honestly don't think that there was an ep that was meant as a season premiere, come to think of it.

Still, that's no excuse to stop the pointless parallellism... ;)
