"No soap opera stories"--YAY! I still take the stand that playing games with characters' relationships is annoying and unnecessary. As someone said earlier, these guys wrote for Aladdin so they should know as much. And as someone ELSE said earlier, "will Kim and Ron get together" was never the main focus of the show, so adding soap opera crud just because they're an item now would just change the feel.

Chameleon still sounds like a lame pop culture appeal, but in comes Mary from 3rd Rock to balance things out.

No word yet on widescreen viewing (although Bob and Mark joked about putting
gags on the sides that you couldn’t see unless viewed in widescreen).

DO IT.

This Season could get down right Interesting.. and after reading all that.. it's definitely looking like I'm not out of a job.. At least not yet! (Though it is intriguing that:

Ron's Gonna get a little sister, Get Trapped in a box with Steve Barkin (And a cow), and even is going to freak when he breaks the news about Kim and Him being 'an item' and that's just in the first 6 or so teasers...

Indeed it looks like I'm gonna have a busy 2007..

though I noted that: they don't say much as to who's gonna be doing the issue with Taking a mission. I'm hoping it's Monique.. but it would be a major surprise, if Bonnie joined in this one (A la Bonding, but not being stuck to kim..(My Money's on Monique.. She seems to be the one who will be in this mess when the mission finally arrives.. and hopefully this will be so much after the start of Season 4. ))

Motor Ed: Seriously!

so then they're also going to : [spoiler] have a New DVD called "Monkey Business (Probably all Monkey Fist eps, and a potential third movie?[spoiler]

Ron: Badical!

and believe me this could be a good season..

Drakken: Okay, so she is all that!

Well we will see when we're looking at this some 5-6 months from now.. also will there be any teasers for this 4th season? some 3 months before the air date? And if so, when will the folks start seeing thiese new teasers? October or November perhaps?

so many questions.. but indeed Season 4 looks good to me!
(Man I'm gonna have to get 'crafty' and 'wily' with those next 22 Talkbacks! :D )

"In one scene this season, Dementor will dress up as an old lady, but Kim will not recognize him even though he’s wearing his helmet."

So... Kim's an idiot now?

No soap opera relationship.

Awesome.

Warmonga seems more interesting than Camille Leon, in my opinion. I think it's cool that Shego will be working with other villains.

LOL Guess they decided to lower Kim's IQ for humor of the show. It would be funny if Ron spotted him before Kim did :D

Has Anyone thought that maybe Kim might be "Distracted" when this event with Professor Dementor happens ? After all Ron Stoppable is a "Distraction.."

I think it's just Kim channeling Kasumi/Misty from Pokemon. They both have red hair and are tough.

And, of course, like most TV shows that come back from the near-dead, Kim Possible, one of the better shows on the Disney Channel, returns with cliche plots, out-of-character idiocy, ripoffs of action/comedy shows that work, and little itty-bitty details nobody really wants to know about.
Here is all of the evidence I need:

* For the first five episodes, Drakken will be in prison. (So was The Monarch. General plot, but still.)
* Drakken will be a pirate captain in one adventure. (?!)
* Kim will use the battle suit sometimes. It malfunctions a lot.
* Shego is in her 20s despite the original idea in the KP Bible that she was 18 or around the same age as Kim.
* Shego will teach at Middleton High. (I assume for one episode as a substitute).
* No new decision on Mrs. Dr. P’s first name. (?!)
* In one scene this season, Dementor will dress up as an old lady, but Kim will not recognize him even though he’s wearing his helmet.
* There are supposedly going to be end blurbs in each episode, so we get an extra little scene after the credits finish. (either like the Venture Bros endings or MST3K's stingers, not sure about how that'll play out).

I know this is supossed to be a show filled with chiches and goofy humor but still.
This is to the point of out of character here. IMO I think that it should just stay at 4 seasons. It'd be alot better that way, at this point. (Then again, I'm just being cynical and reading down the list. I'll judge 'em when I see 'em.)

Ah we love cynnics don't we? they try to find the littlest flaws and turn them into big "much ado about nothing."

But I do want to point out one thing.. Disney already has got that one policy (I left in spoilers) already with The Emperor's New School and even the New American Dragon Jake Long Episodes. And in fact after reviewing some of them I have to say this.. some of the end results are funnier then you realize (Sure you say it's like The Venture Brothers), but you gotta hand it to Disney about one thing, They want to leave you laughing..

(Ever watch Kronk Doing a Polka Dance Wearing Ledderhosen in The Emperor's New School? Or how about Hearing Professor Rotwood on his mother's Answering machine making a Classic (Call From Prison) asking for Bail Money, all because he broke a priceless statue..

Now that's what probably will happen with Kim Possible, you'll see something like these above scenes.. and in fact what is more intriguing is that Disney and Adult Swim aren't the only ones doing it.. The Life and Time of Juniper Lee and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (from Time to time) does it too. so then Disney is just becoming part of the rule, not the exception to it when it comes to what you say. After all why not leave a show with a good laugh? (If you don't laugh, they you really are cynnical..):D

Consider your battle (2nd debate with me this week, strangely) near-won, however we might have a slight miscommunication.
I mentioned the Venture Brothers-like endings, however after your examples from Emperor's New School, it seems like it'll be smooshed in the credits (AND probably dubbed over by that annoying man) which is a pet peeve for everybody.
However I really don't know how it'll play out- we'll see later this year.

Those spoilers are very very interesting. I really like some of the ideas in them. And I'm glad the producers aren't afraid of Kim and Ron's newfound relationship and aren't playing games with it. Sooooo refreshing...

But what intrigues me most is what will happen in Season 4 (S4 as I call it)

I mean the issue with: the End Clips as the credits roll could have some fun ramifications.. after all Can you imagine Shego sitting there in a chair filing her nails, while rambling on about how each of the villains are or maybe talking about Kim and Ron and their Issues, and then right at the end, you hear her say..

"Darn.. I just chiped a Nail.. Back to the Drawing board".. (Starts Filing again)

I say give it a chance.. after all that last punch line could be funny!

Probably not Wussycat, more like what I stated above, namely the things you see in "The Emperor's New School" and Season 2 Jake Long" is probably going to be more like what will be.. at least that's what I'm sensing..(Hey Disney isn't the only one doing this (Like what was mentioned earlier, Juniper Lee, and even Venture Brothers are doing this..

So this isn't the exception for KP, it's the rule.

Didn't they make these horrible bumpers that reused animation (EXACT animation including the original mouthings) and new voicing as bloopers a while back?

Didn't they already break the 4th wall when Kim interupted the opening theme song? But I really hope the end credits animations are like the Juniper Lee ones than Jake Long ones. JL ones are funny and add something like a small plot point like "What happened with what-his-face?"

tucsoncoyote

When did that happen?

If you are refering to the "Fourth Wall" or where Kim Interrupted the opening theme song then you are refering to the 2nd season episode (Which is really the first Episode of Season 2), The Ron Factor.

The Actual scene is in the Opening Credits It's just as the Second Verse of the theme song is going where Kim pushes up the opening scenes and says..

Kim : No no, seriously... You need Ron???!!!*

*(It's in reference to the opening teaser where this scene plays out..)

Ron (To Dr. Director): I gotcha, You need Kim for some 'Save the world' Business....

Dr. Director: Actually..... We Need you, Ron Stoppable....

Kim (Puzzled Look): For.. What????

This is that famous '4th Wall' that everyone talks about.. And in fact this goes even deepeer cause really in Season 2, we see a lot more development in the Characters including... Ron..

And in fact here are all those Ron Episodes that really develop the Character.

Ron Gets A girlfriend ( Zita, Temporarily) -- Grudge Match and Virturon
Ron Goes to Japan and becomes a ninja (and gets a 2nd Girlfriend) -- Exchange
Ron Becomes a Crime Fighter--Fearless Ferret
Ron becomes a Spy--Job Unfair
Ron Becomes Rich -- Ron Millionaire
Ron faces his Monkey Fear-- The Full Monkey
Ron Saves Kim From Disappearing -- Blush
Ron defeats Shego in the future-- A Sitch In Time
Ron Becomes an Athlete-- Triple S
Ron is a mentor/Tutor to Kim in Home Ec --Two to Tutor
Ron Faces Gill (Moss) down and faces another fear --Return to WannaWeep.
Ron has a Fear of Mechanical Horses, but gets over them and is considered a Hero by Kim's Cousin, Joss -- Showdown at the Crooked D.
Ron gets a new Friend (Felix Renton) -- Motor EdIn short, Most of these episodes actually define where the story goes and in fact all of the above episodes actually start to make the show not just about Kim, but rather... Kim and Ron...

After all in So the Drama, the movie says that Ron Hasn't Grown up, when in Reality.. He has... (He's become not 'Just the sidekick' to Kim but by the time the movie's over he's a partner..(and not just the distraction or the sidekick, but rather, an equal).

So if you want to see where the 4th wall got broken through, look at all the Ron-Centric episodes, You'll see that Ron is indeed growing up..

Indeed, after all they did it that way to show that the show wasn't Just about kim but rather.. Kim and Ron..(Heck in Season 1, you had 3 episodes that actually progressed Ron to Season 2's List (See my last Post).

and those were "The New Ron, Monkey Fists Strikes, and Ron the Man.

but yeah it would be funny to see another one of those kinds of openings..

Seems like there is going to be a few changes to KIm Possible. I am looking forward to the show and I still say that Kim Possible could stand to have a few more seasons like say 3 or 4 more. What can I say I like KIM POSSIBLE.

Er, are you talking about Juniper or Jake? Their initials are the same (purely coincidence!) and it makes it harder to understand what you're talking about.

Dragon's credit tags have been good ("Bring It On", "Breakout", "Feeding Frenzy"). It seems like every latest Disney Channel animated series has been doing it; it's been seen in "Emperor's New School" and "The Replacements". KP S4 having it wouldn't surprise me (and would allow a bit of extra comedy or elaboration--usually intertwined).

So the question is will pirate Drakken look like Luffy from One Piece? He's got the scar already :p
