View Full Version : Why is Superman getting screwed with the 2am timeslot?

So Batman TAS gets that nice 7:30 timeslot. Which is great! I've been waiting for this.
BUt on the the flipside, Superman is totally getting the shaft. Guess we're lucky they even bother to air it all.
Whats CN's problem?

I was wondering that, too. Maybe that's the price he'll pay for losing Batman VS Superman. Come on...more people are gonna vote for Batman...:)
It does sorta stink, though.

I wish I could disagree with you there, but sadly I can't.
*sigh* -_-

Thank you, MattL.! I thought I was the only one disgusted about this. It's a shame how CN treats S:TAS. I for one like it better than B:TAS or TNBA. (I know that's hard to believe, but it's true) And I'll probably be casting the lone vote for Superman in the CN contest. :p :)

At least it's Saturday. I'll stay up to watch it.

Livewire: Hey, our boy needs all the help he can get. You know its funny how people often view Superman as an establishment hero. Yet he gets very, very little respect and the fact thats considered so agressively uncool to like him put Superman in a position nobody ever thinks of him being in:
An underdog.
In the age of attitude and anti-heroes, I think Supermans cool *because* he's uncool. In addition to the billion and one other things I like about this great character and his mythos, and this show which is one of the best versions of said mythos ever created.

I'm a bit dissapointed too... S:TAS wasn't as groundbreaking as B:TAS, but it was still a darn good cartoon. If it were up to me, I'd rotate in Superman episodes with Batman episodes to help keep things fresh.

To paraphrase Brendan Frazier in Airheads: "Superman is the quiet cool."

all I know is that when i tape the episodes that I'm missing, it looks like i wont be up to edit out the commericials.
On the other hand, STAS will probably hit prime time again someday, so maybe we just have to be patient.

Or its just being used to fill a slot and will be dumped at the first opportunity.

I'm glad that Superman is back on. I'm gonna re-tape the episodes since I taped over the ones I had before. I knew Batman would eventually come back.

I am really disappointed that they are puttting S TAS on Saturdays at freaking 2#$%@ am! That is BS! I have never seen "Legacy" n now I gotta stay up till 2am to see it!? I happen to like Supes show more than Bats & feel it's so unfair to us S TAS fans that it airs so damn late at night! What's wrong with airing it at 8 or 9 am? CN dropped the Kryptonite bomb on supes big time!

Even though most of us would vote for Batman during the contest, I say that we should all vote for SUPERMAN instead, just to try and get him some more air time (we know there'll be plenty of Batman).

Sorry Tails :( I'd still rather see more Batman. I plan to watch all the STAS shows (which I've never seen) even at 1 am (my time), but if I can see some more BTAS/TNBA that might not come up for awhile in its regular slot (if you think about it, it will take 109 weeks), I'm gonna go for it.

I wish we could get people to vote for Superman, but the combination of batmans popularity and how much some Batman fans will salavate and jump at any chance to put down Superman, I doubt that will happen.

Just to add another thought here. Why does it have to be either-or in first friggin place!!
Why does it always have to be a "vs" thing with people? its assanine and annoying!
