I think in the late second season or early thrid season the JL shoud at least get 4 new members one of them or Oracle. Come on we already saw Batgirl in Batman: TAS on when can see Babs as Oracle. I thinbk the episode should be like Batman got a call from Gotham and Him and some of the JL memebrs go check in out and suddnely Bruce finds out that Batgirl was brutally attacked by the injusice gang. This should be a 3 part episode and should guest star Comissioner Gordan, Nightwing, Robin, and Alfred. I think that's a good idea, what do yall think?

I dunno, I will always think of Barbara as Batgirl and was a little upset the first time I heard about her being confined to a wheelchair. It might make for a really good arch though.
I would really like to see the Bat Team on at least one episode of JL all the same.
But I can't see them getting rid of any of the current members (to add more) and there really isn't room for more heroes that are a part of the regular cast.

(Like some other ppl will say) They have too many memebers the way it is. All 7 are rarely in the same episode. 4 more would just be too crazy. :)

Timm has stated in interviews that the team roster won't change. Besides, do we really need to cripple Barbara?
However, Batman getting help from a computer resource named "Oracle" would be a cool in-joke for the series!

Yeah, it does seem hard enough for them to give enough coverage to the heroes they have. But, it would still be really cool to see Oracle in JL. Either as a resource, like one of the other heroes as Bats to get something, and he calls Oracle...and even a scene in the Batcave where maybe we hear Oracle over the computer, or even see her, that would be the coolest!

Howdy all,
How about a way to eat our cake and have it, too...
Bats calls on "Oracle" for computer assistance on a JL case. At the end of the episode, we find out that Barb/Batgirl was back at the cave (or in her apartment) playing hacker because she sprained or broke an ankle on a case, and is confined to a wheelchair for a few weeks. I'll pull the lazy-writer excuse and say there's some reason why she had to play "Oracle" instead of just coming out as Batgirl.
Barb says it's no problem and that she thought it was kind of fun. "Maybe something I'll do again, occasionally..."
Great. Now I have yet another comic book plot I'll never be able to finish (along with my half-plotted Hawkman story, Batman/Hawkgirl detective story, and the Big Magic Punchup story...)

I think thats a pretty good idea. Granted it takes away from the seriousness of the killing joke and oracles character from the comics. But it's a way to have barbara work as oracle for the JL without having to sacrifice her as batgirl (something that I would assume people who are bigger fans of the animated universe would most likely have a problem with.) Still I wouldnt mind if they oraclized Barbara and just introduced Cassandra Cain somewhere down the line... perhaps there'll be a NTNBA...

The Flash took the words right out of my mouth. Or should I say he took the words right off my fingertips? Anyway, when I think of Barbara Gordon I only think of her as Batigirl and not Oracle. It doesn't seem right that's she's not Batgirl in the comics anymore.

I agree about the extensive roster. It's best to keep things simple. And although I don't want Barb to become Oracle, I still must say I respect the character immensely. :) She made sure she was just as strong if not stronger after the incident with the Joker in the comics.
