I know you've seen a similar thread like this before, and sorry if this seems like spamming, but I'm really desperate for a Photoshop colorist. I need someone that has really good skills, and can color like the colorists that do the comics..in other words, like a professional.

The pics I want colored are mostly Bruce Timm Pics just to give an idea of what to color.

Please, please, please...if anyone is generous enough, please do this for me.

I'm not "like a professional", but I could give it a shot. I know I'm not inspiring much confidence, but then you'd have to be more specific. As in, what I'm coloring, and how you'd like it done. Things like that. But I have a few pics of my own that I've colored, if it makes any difference to you. >shrugs<

Thank you for stepping up SilverKnight. Umm...I guess I'll just give you the pics to color right in this thread if that's alright:

http://www.popcultureshock.com/brucetimm/xxfull/1565.jpg

(This one I think you need to make a new layer and then color it in and do the rest or whatever. I don't know how much you know about Photoshop, so I don't know if you can do this or not)

To further help you with that image, here's what another version of that image looks like on a magazine:

http://www.popcultureshock.com/brucetimm/xxfull/1412.jpg

(I would like it closely related to that, if possible, but I don't want everything to be in different colors. I just want all the characters to normally colored like how they are in the comics)

Also, the other pic is the Batman pic that Delaney drew, though I can't find a link to it. If anyone here would be kind enough to provide me with a link, it would be great.

Anyway, if it isn't too much, I would like the pic to be larger than it's original version, and after that is finished, I would like the lines to realligned so everything is straight again and not jaggedy, if you know what I mean. I also want it to be a clear image as possible. And I would like for both of the images to be the same size. Geez, I'm a nitpicker aren't I? :p

Whoa. Uh...I'm a tad bit in over my head. I hope you don't take offense if I back out... As I told you, I'm not a professional. I doubt you'd find many people on this board that would be able to color that with professional quality. And, unfortunately, I'm not one of them. Not even close. >looks at failed attempts and winces< Um, yeah. I apologize if I'm leaving you hanging.

Excuse me, I'd just like to step in to scold SK for letting her fears and insecurities controll her. My avatar is an excellent example of her ability (although full size versians would be better, to show the detail).

Still, I can see how that'd be a challenge for anyone, seeing as how that's a massive project. But as a hardcore DG fan let me just say it ROCKS! I'd give anything to see that colored! Will SOMEONE PLEASE step up and pull the sword from the stone!? The chosen one must be found!

I used to color well when I took classes on photoshop in school a year or two ago, but nowadays I just augment other pictures and/or make backgrounds and stuff, myself. :)

Uh....ok...how 'bout this...can you just color the pics as best as of your ability? How 'bout that? I'll try to find someone to do the finishing touches.

You really want that colored, don't you?

...alright. I'll try it. No guarantees, though. Chances are I'll get halfway through, hit a wall, get pissed and erase the whole thing. Keep that in mind. I'm very impatient and a perfectionist. I suggest you try and find someone else. :)

I'm done. More or less. I still have it saved as a .psd in case anything needs to be fixed. But here's the file:

So, do you like? >sighs< Okay, this isn't going to work. What you're going to have to do is copy/paste the addy into the addy bar by hand and look at it that way. >kicks geocities<

Whoa! Nice Job! Just one question, did you retrace the whole thing, because some of the lines look a little bit off. It looks great and all, but I'm just asking. Anyway, can you try the Delaney pic (Batman with the Joker)?

Also, this is just if you want to, could you do that Robin pic in a different coloring style, specifically the coloring style of the DC Animated Series (B:TAS, TNBA, JL) with if possible, more straighter lines? I'm reall sorry for torturing you, but like I said, I would give anything for this to be colored in the Animated Series Coloring Style. But, this is just if you would like to do this on your free time. And w/ the Delaney pic, could you do that in the same style (Animated series coloring style) also?

Anyways, can anyone else step up to do the finishing touches on SK's pics or even color it on their own? If it's possible, I would like it in the coloring style of the Animated series. So, anyone up for it?

Perhaps you should have said that before I spent a day coloring for it. I'm glad you like it, even if you want it done differently. And, no, I won't change it. You want it changed, you change it yourself. Learn Photoshop. It's not that hard.

Batkid.

I haven't said anything, but I'm going to now-

While the main reason why I declined your request is because I have to concentrate on exams and my portfolio, I also did because you were being *too* picky. Perhaps you don't know the etiquette for requesting an artist to do something for you, but it *is* hard work (if you want professional style work, maybe you should pay a professional), and no one is expected to do anything for you. I think it was extremely rude for you to say "Change this" and "Sharpen this", especially the "Anyone else want to color it?" part. As Silver Knight said, if you want all these details, perhaps it would be easier for you to learn Photoshop yourself.

As for Silver Knight, it *is* a very good job, and you should be proud of yourself. Much better than mine, I didn't spend very much time on it (Speaking of which, maybe I should have spent none at all, since Batkid wants someone else to do it again anyway).

I agree with everything NF said and I would like to add that is is very frustrating to be "ordered" to do something and not get the right instructions - I've had some problems with a guy who wants a webpage done and I have had little to no info on how he wants it done...But I can accept it because I am being payed -but in SK's case, she did it because she wanted to be nice ( and indeed she is !)

Anyhow - I think this reply might sound a little harsh, but it wasn't meant to be that way

so...take care y'all!

Everyone, I'm really sorry about what I've done this past 2 weeks. I have been too picky and I really didn't think about how hard it is gor you artists to do this. Once again, sorry. And Nightflower, when I asked for SK to do the Delaney pic, I totally forgot you already did it for me, and I'm serious, I'm not lying, I really did forget. And I apologize for my rudeness to anyone here. Once again, I'm sorry, and I hope you can forgive me.
