I am a big fan of the game Mad TV haven't heard of it? don't worry not too many people have, it didn't do too well in the US even though it was one of the top 10 Amiga games during the early 90's.
Bascily you run a TV station but unlike the crap games like Prime Time, Mad TV does not take it self seriously. The plot is like this, you where watching some education show when you instantly fell in love with the hot host so you drive on down to the station. You run into the owner of the network. He needs a new program director since he tossed the last guy out the window and hiring you would save him having to put an ad in the paper. So your job is to make the station #1 right? wrong while you need ratings for cash and to keep your boss happy your real goal is to win the heart of that host (that just happends to work in the same building) so your line up won't alway be for pure ratings. Oh yes I forgot you can air x-rated shows but air them before 9pm and consered parents will raid your video library. Of course just like when one of the embassies in the building get threatend you can switch with info board in the lobby so one of your competitors get hit instead.
Oh yes and I love the fact they put a Donald Duck figurine and a Gameboy on your desk.
You see some screenshots here. (http://www.gooddays.org/madtvscreens.shtml)
Unfortunately the german version out sold the english version by far so Mad TV 2 is only in German.
Anyway one day I would love to make a knock off of it focusing on KWB.
