I think I know how this story will fold out. But then again, it's pretty much too simple of a Solution, but nonetheless, I like this story so far. They seem to be careful with how they set it up.

Possible *spoilers* Below:

I think, (judging from the last 2 issues) that, Sasha is the Killer. Becasue Like she said: she "Loves" Batman.
And not that Versper was in the way anymore, But I think that because Sasha puts soo much effort into trying to get MORE emotion out of Bruce, and gets nothing But failure, i
t drove HER insane. She knew Bruce had a GOOD handle on his emotions after purposely breaking up with Vesper, though as you can see in the issue Bruce DOES have feelings hidden deep, as he watches Vesper as Batman from a rooftop.
Sasha admitedly Notices this. The set up seems almost TOO easy for this to be the case, but it's a theory. She killed Vesper, to Break Bruce emotionally, similar to how Bane Broke him Physically. With that done, he is left with no one to console him besides Sasha.
AND..did anyone notice how in GK, she gave Bruce a Present, that we never get to see? A test tube was moved in his lab.
All those things combined could result in anything, like chemical sabotage, to Post hypnotic Suggestions. So maybe Bruce did Kill Vesper under Sasha's control. Perhaps she gave him a Gun as a gift.

What do you think is going to happen?

All we've seen, all Sasha's thoughts and dialogue haven't made her look like someone who was capable of it.

Yeah but why:

do we never see what present SHE gave him?, And Who moved the lab equiptment when Bruce was gone. All points to her. And normally those are'nt huge factors, but what IS big is that they Never explained these things. They were left a mystery for some reason. And she directly had something to do with both of those. Plus given the fact that her character is fairly new, and if she were put in jail, or killed, It would'nt hurt anyone.

I'm moving this to the COMIC board. And the 911 call confirmed the killer is male.

IF that was a real call. A lot of people think it was faked somehow. Also, since she never said "Bruce", I'm thinking it might be real.

Right.

Im sorry, I did'nt realize there was a "comic" board. I always talked about the Comic Bruce through other posts on the B, BB, Supes board.

About the present - I don't think there's any significance in it. I remember while reading it, I was thinking to myself "Oh boy, whatever this is she got him, its going to be lame - a real let down". I just figrued they wouldn't have been imaginitive to come up with something that would surprise Bruce and make him that happy. I've got a feeling we didn't see what it was, because the writer couldn't really come up with something good enough to show - thus just leaving it unspecified.

I gotta say, I think one of the best idesas I've read anywhere is that its Hugo Strange behind it all.

I haven't really kept up with the whole "Sasha" thing, but from what I've heard she's not really liked by the readers that much. Do you think DC is having Sasha go the route of a certain former Boy Wonder? Not dead, just not in the book any more, written out so to speak... I kinda see where FLIPMODE is coming from. I'd add her to the list of suspects...

I just read The Ten Cent Adventures online and I think that your suspicions of Sasha make a lot of sense. Hope it was her...!

As for the entire series, I'll probably just wait until it's over and then flip through the issues that regular readers recommend.

My Prime suspects: Lex Luthor, Ra's Al Ghul, and Bane.

but if you got this far in the thread, are spoiler warnings still necessary?

I think the murderer is someone acting on orders from Lex Luthor. So far, this seems to be an attack against Bruce Wayne and not at all against Batman...even though the Bat Family immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was against Batman. I can't explain the test tubes being moved or what Sasha's gift was, unless she is allied with Luthor somehow, but she didn't report to him that Bruce is Bats (due to her love?) The whole murder set up just feels like a political frame-up job.

Didn't the DC editors say a while back they wanted to bring Lex into the Bat books? It was supposed to happen with Our Worlds @ War, but only in the one special.

I don't think this is another Ra's plot...he's had too many event storylines in the last few years. It could be Hugo Strange since he was brought back into the limelight within the last year...but I'm still betting on Luthor being involved.

Yeah I agree. I like those Suspects, Lex Luthor.
Hugo.

But my thing with Hugo...does he still believe Bruce is Batman, or did, they cure him of that idea?

And did anyone get Robin#60, they said it's avaiable NOW, my store did'nt have it.

If there is one thing I have learned about DC, it is "always blame Hal Jordan".
