Comic series Encylopedia

So I was wondering if anybody knows of any good character encylopedia style sites. You know sites you can visit when you want to know about storylines in specific series or find out whatever happened to character x. I have a few for Spider-Man., The Flash, and Teen Titans that I will posts links to. But I as of yet haven't found one nearly the caliber of these sites for Super-Man, Green Lanter, Batman, or Wonder Woman. Of course any encylopedia sites would be welcome. Since these are fan sites and predominatly done by one person they are quite a bit more reliable than say Wikipedia.

I could have sworn there was a dedicated thread for this a while ago, buut I can't seem to find it. Anyway, most of my links are on my work browser, but here are a few I can remember:

Marvel's Thor: The Immortal Thor of Asgard (http://www.immortalthor.net/)

X-Men: Uncanny X-Men.net (http://www.uncannyxmen.net/). I'm not sure if I'm frightened by the thoroughness of this site, or by the fact that my eyes glaze over and I develop a tic after reading any of the extended biographies after 4 or 5 pages.

It's very out of date, but the Marvel Directory (http://www.marveldirectory.com/directory.htm) website has a lot of the entries from the old Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe.
