Toonami's Too Quiet....

Yet another Toonami gripe to be made. No doubt the latest DBZ promos(like DBZ needs more promos....) were definately awesome and reminding me of the good ol' days. "Are you ready to fight me!?"

I liked that, but the music lately has been too quiet, and so's the overal tone. I know it's suppose to be cuz Toonami's cool and chill, but I'm whining about the hey day of when there was all that Matrix Japanese Kanji scrolling in the background. Openings, promos and so forth were slammin' and multi-colored.

Enough blue, white and black already!!!

I like this new music, more so then the old music....the promo's have gotten alot more violent...I love it! ^_^

I kind of like the dull colors of Toonami. I also like the dark atmosphere it creates for itself. But its not to say that I don't miss the old days of Toonami though. I miss the scrolling kanjii and those things Moltar and TOM 1 said when an intro started:

*At the begining of a DBZ intro*
Moltar: Get ready for a power trip!
TOM 1: Here comes the battle royale!
TOM 2: ............ (pushes some buttons) .................

I agree with JC on this one, Toonami needs some kind of kick in the ***** to tell them that the need to kick it up a notch.

Toonami, and by extension Williams Street, really just need the resources to make us some of the old slamin promos like we had with MSG. Those were awesome promos. :) The recent round has been very lackluster, with the noted exception of the 1.5 minute long Batman Beyond promo.
