Have any of you ever (or recently) taken a B&W/CZ Looney Tunes and a redrawn color LT and watched them side-by-side? I just did so with the redrawn Puss N' Booty and its B&W counterpart (taped from the recent Toonheads: Tish Tash special). I even had the soundtracks synched almost perfectly during this, so I could see the differences how specific scenes looked and played out.

If you hadn't noticed, the images from the re-drawn prints are larger than the original. i guess it's becasue each frame had to be enlarged for the Koreans to do the tracing...

Not to mention that the opening titles for the redrawns look like they're from a coloring book, colored in by a five year old. But I do like the green and pink color scheme on the redrawn "Puss N' Booty"'s LT card.

You got me there - that does look kinda cool at that. I would, however, like to see the 1990 computer-colored version of "Puss N' Booty" once again. I only saw it once. But now I have a great B&W copy from the recent "toonheads" episode re Frank Tashlin.

You're probably right- the Korean redrawns are full of them.

In "The Film Fan" it reads "We change our SHAHTS everyday".... so much for the joke intended..

In the redrawn Impatient Patient, Norman McCabe's name is spelled. "Nonm McCcbe", no joke!

In the re-drawn print of "Daffy's Southern Exposure", Carl W. Stalling is billed as 'Carl W. Stallinc'!

Jon Cooke made a folder with a bunch of mistakes from redrawn cartoons. Here's the address:

My favorite is still in "Porky's Poppa," in which Stalling wasn't billed at all! It just says "Musical Direction."

When I used to see that on Nickelodeon in the late 80's, I had very little knowledge of the problems inherent in the redrawns, so it was really baffling. "What? Nobody did the music?"
