According to <a href="http://www.comingattractions.com">Coming Attractions</a>, X2, the sequel to the hit 2000 movie X-Men may be filming in Vancouver. Filming looks to start May 6th and one location may already have been revealed!
According to a local paper in Vancouver, Inside buzz says the team is looking for a mansion to replace Casa Loma as Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters. If they find a building they like, X2 could shoot in the Victoria area for up to two weeks during the picture's May-September shoot.
Our scooper thinks that Hatley Castle at Royal Roads University (coincidentally, that's where Patrick Stewart filmed parts of Masterminds back in 1996) is the obvious choice for Xavier's School.
Stay tuned for updates on the movie. Also, a new episode of X-Men: Evolution will air on January 26th, entitled "Mindbender". It is episode #25. Episodes #23 and #24, "Operation: Rebirth" and "Walk onm the Wild Side", are scheduled to air in Febuary. Stay tuned for schedule updates here at TZN!
