"I admire your courage, Miss?"
"Trench. Sylvia Trench. I admire your luck, Mr...?"
"Bond. James Bond."

Studio: United Artist
Director: Terence Young
Cast: Sean Connery, Ursula Andress, Joseph Wiseman, Anthony Dawson, John Kitzmiller, Bernard Lee, Lois Maxwell, Eunice Grayson.

Plot: James Bond 007 heads to Jamaica to discover the whereabouts of a missing colleague, a search that leads him to a criminal genius.

In about 21 weeks, Daniel Craig will take on the role of 007 in Casino Royale. So, for these next weeks I will post talkbacks on all the theatrical James Bond films.

In terms of production values and how well the film was made etc, it was very good, but it just hasnt aged well at all.

3 and a half stars. i was quite impressed with dr no. i was kind of interested in what the movie was going to be like since the bond "formula" was not used yet, but my expectations where somewhat low. i was completely blown away and it took me by surprise. definately in my top 3 favorite connery bond films.
