I was reading sports illustrated this week and it had an excerpt from:

My Bad: 25 Years of Public Apologies and the Appalling Behavior That Inspired Them by Paul Slansky (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=books&field-author-exact=Paul%20Slansky&rank=-relevance%2C%2Bavailability%2C-daterank/104-6081522-8085553), Arleen Sorkin (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=books&field-author-exact=Arleen%20Sorkin&rank=-relevance%2C%2Bavailability%2C-daterank/104-6081522-8085553).

I did a double-take, then looked it up, and sure enough:

I didn't know our favorite female funnywoman (yes, that's a word, i swear) was also an author.

Just thought you guys would be interested.

Not really on-topic, but I did a similar double-take when I found out Frank DeCaro, who did the "Out At The Movies" segment on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, wrote an article on Batman Beyond for TV Guide several years ago. I had always suspected he was an animation fan (he gave glowing reviews to both Disney's Tarzan and Titan A. E. on The Daily Show), but it was still a big surprise.

That is so killer. Plus, I miss him. He was really good. Steve Carrel's Ad Naseum too, although the guy that replaced him did one segment and it was as hilarous.

I guess our Arleen Sorkin fandom got so wrapped up in Harley Quinn we forgot that, as a human being, she is potentially capable do OTHER things. ;) It threw me for a loop to, but I'll bet that book is just as awesome as Harley was.
