This was a slack job this week, and I apologize, but classes resume this week, and you know what that means.

It probably doesn't mean any danger for the site, since right now there is little news in the way of acquisitions. Hopefully something will surface in February...

It was sort of funny with a shoddy storyline, but who can help but love his buddy from work (voice is oswald from drew carry). Another weak showing and I really hate that damned theme song. Give me more sealab (or chesty women in the case of this episode).

Now my least favorite brak show is on... yay. Boring AS so far.

However, I heard my fave sealab ep, I,Robot will be airing in a few minutes. :D

I liked this episode more than the one from last week. I liked the video game spoof (not the lead in, just the dialogue from the two characters) and Rodney's quote after the birthday dancer comes out ("These guys really listen to the suggestion box" or something like tha").Then, it went downhill with the storyline (too predictable). I'd give it a middle C.

I liked the episode even though I saw it during it's WB run. The episode like most wasn't funny to me(except the lead in..I was laughing hard cause what wanda said is true), but it kept me entertained and not once did I get board or feel sleepy. The ep. was interesting and well written,IMHO. I don't really kow what you guys mean buy shotty storline, this was a good plot and so what if it was predictable, most TV is... It was still quality TV and that's why i give it an A. No minus, no plus, just an A, it was solid.

They need to give daryl a bigger role, he's the one thing on the show that ever made me laugh.

Are you kidding me? You gave this show an A even though you didn't think it was that funny?? Whatever.

I don't mind a predictable story. However, this was WAY too predictable. I believe someone mentioned this, but if the show was about the neighbors instead of this couple, it would be a better show. Now that I think about it, this couple acts like Bob and Margaret with kids minus those British accents (if you don't believe me, then explain that whole "keeping points" joke).

I will give the show yet another chance next Sunday. After that, I will decide if I ever watch that show again (BTW, the worst show tonight was not Baby Blues. IMHO, it was that one with the two characters from Space Ghost).

Another week, another boring episode of Baby Blues... I wish they'd go back to showing back to back episodes of Home Movies.

What is it with this show? it's just not funny. might as well be watching a crappy sitcom on ABC..

Then watch a crappy sitcom on ABC if you don't like it.

Sorry.. it's just I hear that line SO MANY TIMES... I figure I could point people in the right direction.

It was pretty good, but too damn predictable for an AS show. I mean, look at some examples:
HM: well, lots of things, but a particular one doesn't pop to mind.
Brak show: AHH! Gigantitron!
Space Ghost: Break all the pipes for more good ideas!
Sealab: Check out this *****in' home made tesla coil!
Cowboy Bebop: Roccoco's (Damn my spelling) fatal thumbs-up. Who saw that coming? Or Spike's death?

Anyway, the show was overall pretty well done, and adds some variety to AS. I give the episode a B+.

*forgive my poor, poor, put-em-to-sleep examples.

there weren't any crappy sitcoms on abc then, so i ended up watching hogan's heroes instead.

Matt thats not very fair, I happen to dislike this show too, its just NOT funny, just because some people don't like it doesn't mean that those people like crappy shows, you said sorry, but then said you'd "point people in the right direction" that still came off as kinda rude...

Um..Something DOESN'T have to be funny to be good ! And they don't push the jokes on you, like on The Simpsons...Like I said already, the show doesn't have to be fuuny to be good. It was very entertaining, and that was the point.

I wasn't being rude. The person said he would rather watch an ABC sitcom, so I gave him advice to do so! That's not rude.

Yes, something doesn't have to be funny to be good UNLESS it's a comedy. Since when does The Simpsons push jokes on you?? Baby Blues pushs jokes AND drags in storyline. Maybe the fact that many people are annoyed with the theme song (I'm ok with it) starts the show on a bad note. And as you can see, I am not the only person with this opinion.

You are not the only person online with that opinion, no.

But you are not the majority.

People that talk on message boards are usually, if not always, never the majority.

I thought it was better than last weeks episode. It was pretty funny!

I mentioned that this episode was better than last weeks. However, I still found it predictable and boring so I still didn't like it.

As far as telling me that I am not part of the majroity, I disagree. With the fact that WB got rid of it, that proves that I am part of the majority of those who dislike it.

An unfunny comedy can still be good if it's well written, like baby blues....I mean undeclared isn't that funny but it's written well so it's entertaining, while a show like Offcenter isn't the best written but it's hillarious.

Getting back on topic...

I loved "Baby Blues". I can't say enough good things about this show. The pottery classes (I'm sensing a pattern in Melinda's work), the birthday girl (c'mon, guys, who wouldn't like a surprise like that?) and Rodney; he's a jerk, but, for some reason, you can't help but like him.

Grade: A

Every episode I have seen of this show (this being the second) was predictable and boring. Yes, those things were funny....AT FIRST. All they ended up doing was dragging the very same jokes;that is the pattern you are sensing.

In fact, the theme song explains it all: "It's all been done."

--saw it on the WB...but I still enjoyed it a second time around. The part with the guys singing "Dooley"--esp. the pan down to the pickup truck) was one of my favorite bits. Kath Soucie voiced both Rodney and the Birthday Lady (why not E.G. Daily, who is an actual singer and the voice of the baby?) It's relatable humor--I've got a baby in the house, and trust me, much of that "points" stuff and the harried-parents humor is pretty much spot-on. " *fart* "She wants you." Though I'll admit the bit where Rodney gets arrested buy a clerk who mistakes a video-game gun for a pistol was a bit much....

While I will admit that my ears aren't the sharpest, I believe that Ms. Daily did the singing for the Birthday Lady.

watching this show make me want to murder those around me.

it was intended for suburban yuppie retards

i cant believe we lost a half hour of home movies for this filthy bucket of slurry.

...and we do have a right to complain about it. if no one complains about unamusing programs, and those of us who hate it just turn to some other piece of garbage, then we end up losing decent shows to reruns of friends. i want to see certain things on tv, and im tired of programming being chosen to please the masses. the masses are retards who need art fed to them with the "you've been trained to like this" spoon. those who enjoy sealab are not the people who own neilson boxes, and our opinions must be heard through other means.

...and they should bring back squigglevison on home movies.

You actually liked that garbage?? When I heard that song, I wanted to shoot my TV. That scene was horrible.

I didn't see it on Adult Swim, but I remember it from the WB.

E.G. Daily was terrific as Birthday Girl.
