Now we know that Shredder and Bishop are the two most
formidable enimies of the turtles. Now which villain is the better antagonist.

One thing i like about Bishop is that is not evil as shredder. To me he seem to be a more complex villain than Shredder.

Yeah Shredder is the really bad guy but I prefer Bishop, I really like how he's mostly misguided.

One interesting thing is nether of them really cared about the Turtles. To Shredder the Turtles were a minor pain keeping him from reaching his true enemies and only tried to kill the Turtles because they were in his way. Yet killing the Utroms was far more important and would ignore the Turtles to complete his real goal.

Bishop is even less direct then Shredder, he wants to protect Earth from aliens and sacrafied his humanity to do it. To him the Turtles are just a source of genetic material to help him on his mission.

Yeah Bishop is not evil when you get down to it. His Actions make him evil but his goals do not. He still wants to save humanity and if he creates a threat he will clean it up.

What makes them work is they are threats to the Turtles in very different ways.

actually you have a very good point there. very intresting one too. it does make sense.

you are right. Bishop only wants to use the Turtles as a source of help for his plan to save humanity. but shreder is just evil.

I guess that's what made Karai-Shredder boring...she was too focused on the Turtles XD

Hun worked better on his own because he wouldn't actively seek out the Turtles, just get them out of his way.

I always thought Bishop was dumb to antagonize the Turtles... seeing as how most of his underlings are nothing more than footsoldiers he could use some good fighters who just happen to have EXPERIENCE dealing with aliens... sadly, like Stockman, he sees the Turtles as inferior.

Bishop is similar to another immortal villain like Ra's al ghul in that both have good intention in saving the planet
but is their method that make them evil.

Someway i view Bishop as the equivalent of Ra's al ghul.

after watching the new tmnt i like bishop cuz he has a darker story than the alien shredder. i dont like this new shredder, because now he is an alien. that ruin the meaning of the shredder
