Bruce Wayne may have gotten contacts between Batman the Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures, I know this topic is halfway stupid, and not all that important but hey..whatever...becuase, think about this, Bruce's eyes where always brown in BTAS and then in TNBA they were unexplainably blue, it is likely just becuase WB wanted to change Bruce's looks, but then in Batman Beyond he doesn't where glasses, but his eyes appear blue...how often do eighty year old men NOT wear glasses? which leads me to my conclusion...Bruce got himself some blue contacts :)

I noticed the change in eye color, but the contact theory is a good one. I mean, how much fun would the Joker have with Batman in glasses?

LOL!

I don't remember the title of the ep where Barb is training in the cave and Bruce says " dead is dead" and turn up the level on the "game", but there you see Bruce in a shot where his blue eyes are brown again (or black)

Don't try to come up with a logical explanation for his change in eye color. You might just as well say he dyed his hair black and that's why it changed color. Are we prepared to answer why all the villains are different too? What about the Penguin, ZorBrak? What about the Penguin?

Today, more and more people are getting laser eye surgery to correct their vision. Maybe laser eye surgery is so advanced and perfected in the future, at Bruce's age, he wouldn't need glasses. Maybe he had the surgery done on himself. Then again, there were background characters that wore glasses. But maybe that's was for the sake of style. "And that, is what they say is that" -FFX

first of all to all those who are saying that it was jsut a redesign..we know...so don't waste your time telling..

Bruce is a very stubborn man as we all know, I could see him being the type that refuses to get eye surgery because of the risks...maybe he wouldn't want to because he doesn't want to risk losing his sight and not being able to be batman...or I don't know feh.. :p

Or it could be the other way around, he's too stubborn to lose his eye sight so he has surgery! ;) :p

Since Bruce is trained in just about everything, he trained his eyes to not fail him no matter how old he gets :p

Maybe Bruce had brown contact in BTAS and THEN he had laser eye surgery, returning to his natural eye color of blue for TNBA. :p

What?

Yep, that's exactly what happened. And the penguin is different because it's actually not the penguin, it's a botched clone done by HARDAC. This is also why he suddenly acuired sophistication and stopped living in dank hideouts. He was rusting.
