Of the 5 different series, which was your favorite theme song? I couldn't remember how they went, so I've been downloading them and I like The New Batman/Superman Adventures theme best, because I like the extra percussion.

I say B:TAS.
Yes, the Batman and Robin Adventures had a different theme than B:TAS.

I had to go with BTAS. I made a TV theme CD a couple of years ago and that was the one song I had to be sure I got.

Oh sorry, I have no recollection of a different theme for that at all. I guess we'll need one of the moderators to go add The Adventures of Batman & Robin (1994).

Sequence-wise, BTAS. It just had a GREAT opening sequence with the Batmobile and the rooftop battle, etc.
If JL had a better sequence, it would give BTAS a run for it's money.

The BTAS theme is essentially the Danny Elfman theme for the Batman movie. The Adventures of Batman and Robin is the theme composed by Shirley Walker, it's also the theme heard in Mask of the Phantasm.
I personally like the Shirley Walker themes for Superman and Batman out of all the animated series. For Superman and Batman's animated forms, her music just worked so well in capturing their personality and character into the music. :)

This is a lot like an SAT question: you can automatically eliminate a choice, and the first one to go is Kris Carter's "Batman Beyond" theme. Don't get me wrong, I love the synths and rockin' guitar, but I'm an orchestral music lover 'til the day I die. (Even beyond that, maybe.) Lolita Ritmanis' "Justice League" theme strikes me as good, but fairly unremarkable.
Which leaves the three earlier themes:
"Batman: TAS" by Danny Elfman
"Superman: TAS" by Shirley Walker
"The New Batman/Superman Adventures" also by Walker
I have to go with Walker's theme for TNBSA because it represents the best of both worlds expressed in Elfman's "Batman" theme and Walker's "Superman" theme; dark, yet incredibly heroic. How I wish that some record company would release the music scores from the series.

The Adventures of Batman & Robin breifly had a different theem, that only lasted for one season, barely. That theme can be foun don the BTAS VHS ROBIN which features the two part "Robin's Reckoning".
And I'm kinda partial to the original B:TAS and Batman Beyond.
