The Penguin

To celebrate my 100th post I have a question for everyone:
What is your favorite version of a character?
As an example if I were picking my favorite version of The Penguin I would be picking from: The 60s TV series, Batman Returns, BTAS, or TNBA.
If I were picking my favorite version of Two-Face I'd pick BTAS, Batman Forever, or TNBA.
Have fun with it, pick whoever you want Batman, Batman villain, Superman, Superman villain, whoever suits your fancy from the Batman/Superman universe.

My favorite version of Superman is the animated version. My favorite version of Batman is also the animated version(BTAS and TNBAS).

Though I can't recall a version of superman shown to me that I haven't liked, My favorite is still Christopher Reeve in the first Superman movie. The later ones might have been a bit crap, but that first one I still love the best.

Batman- B:TAS. I just love the ways he's portrayed. The voice is perfect. It's not Micahel Keaton or Val Kilmer trying to sound "gruff" it's just this dark, interesting, perfect voice. I love how he acts, reacts, and goes about things in TAS, and I just think he's pretty ******* cool.
Dick Grayson/Robin I/Nightwing: B:TAS. I think the reimagining of Robin in B:TAS was perfect- it kept the traditional look of the original comic book character but made him hipper, and more modern, and again, I think the voice is perfect. Kevin Conroy and Loren Lester are a great dynamic duo.
Batgirl/ Barbara Gordon: I had a huge crush on Yyvone Craig's Batgirl for a long time, and she will always have a special place with me, but I'll go with TNBA. The animated version is terrific, but TNBA one is way better than the B:TAS one- the voice is soooo much better and I like the black look, plus the Baraba in TNBA is way hotter... We'll ignore Alicia Silverstone completely here.
Joker- B:TAS BY FAR. I thought Jack Nicholson's Joker was terrific, I really did, and I held that as the definitive version of the character until three years later when I saw Mark Hammill's Joker. The animated Joker is the coolest, darkest, funniest Joker I've seen, and I just love him. I think he is the best portayed villain in B:TAS, he's just so cool.
Penguin: Hmmm.... I don't really like the Penguin at all, but I guess I'll go with TNBA. Danny DeVito's make-up was amazing, but other than that, Batman Returns' portayal of the character is disgusting. They took the distinguised gangster and made him into a nose-biting mutant. The B:TAS one was just not right visually, but the voice was great, and I like the TNBA redesign, so...
Catwoman- Batman Returns. I just think that Michelle Pfiffer's Catwoman was great in so many ways, she was sexy, cool, well acted, and just a very good evil catwoman who loves Bruce, which is the way I like her. B:TAS was a close second here, I love that design, very sexy, but she's too much of a "good girl". I hated the TNBA redesign, and although I had a crush on the 60s Catwoman (forget her name), I had a bigger one on Michelle Pfiffer. Hell, I still do! :)
The Riddler: B:TAS. I like the Riddler in every facet he comes in, because he's a unique villain who makes me think, but I preffer the cold, sardonic animated version to the hyper-active crazy, green spandex Riddler we saw in the 60s show and in Batman Forever.
Two-Face. Tommy Lee Jones' Two-Face was a fool. TNBA Two-Face seems a little darker and more dangerous than his B:TAS counterpart, but the one in B:TAS seems a little more like he's actually "two sided about everything", you know, he's still a large part Harvey Dent in there, so I'll go with B:TAS.
Mr. Freeze. Arnie all the way. JUST KIDDING! B:TAS. The redesign in TNBA was ugly and weird, and I hate that he no longer cares about Nora, etc. so I go with B:TAS, ignoring the B&R version of course.
Poison Ivy: TNBA. Her character was the same in both animated versions, I just find the TNBA look to be sexier and cooler. Uma Thurman wasn't as bad as most people say she was, but nowhere near as good as the animated version.
Well that's all I can think of for now. :D

Responding to my own question, my favorite version of the Penguin would be very close between the 60s version and TNBA. I haven't seen many of TNBA so I would probably vote for Burgess.
