I sure as Heck didn't. Yet what has taken me by surprise is nobody is talking about it. Anywhere. No ads in the stores. No gamers are thinking about this. It's like GTA London when nobody really cared it was out when people would've wanted this. Just on Rockstar's main site is the only bit of true pimpage I've seen. Nobody is hyped up about the console release.
For those who don't have a PSP, you should run out and get this. It's only $20 so that's a great deal.

Nope, I just relized it came out yesterday (Jun. 7th). I'm not sure if I really want it though since Slackers won't have it until later and I'd like to see how its improved from GTA3 because its really just an overhaul. And its price being $19.99 I'd be getting ripped off paying $6.99 just to rent it, and no I am not using Gamefly as I'd get the game in late due to my bad mail service.

It's only $14.99 this week at Circuit City. Not a bad buy considering the sandbox nature of GTA.

What I look forward to the most in GTA gmes is the music, I doubt they fit much on that game beig originally on PSP and music takes up the most disc space.

Yes.
I so did, I even made a thread about it. "The first PSP to PS2 Port? GTA Liberated NEXT WEEK"

I knew about it, only because I work at Gamestop. We haven't really sold any aside from pre-order copies because no one seems to be all that interested in it. It wasn't hyped up and it really honestly isn't that great on the PSP. I own it for PSP and only use it for eboot purposes. It's a downgrade from San Andreas and Vice City.

And besides it's based on same location as GTA3, so there's nothing new to explore (I think).

I didn't see any GTA Liberated NEXT WEEK, but I clearly remember talking about the PSP to PS2 port. Just there was no set date.

Once I saw a release date from IGN, I changed the title of the thread and bumped it so people could see it.
I bought it this week, and only opened it last night to have standard GTA carnage ensue with friends. GTA games are great single player, but you really get the fun on when you just throw in weapon codes and see what you can do.

I've beaten the three previous PS2 GTAs and have gotten 100% on Vice City and San Andreas and I own San Andreas. But, I currently have no plans to get Liberty City Stories. I mean, from the reviews I've read it's similar to GTA III and I honestly don't know if I can go back to GTA III after playing San Andreas. I mean, I imagine I would be playing it and be saying to myself, man I miss the music in the other GTAs, and the helicopters, and the more complex story, etc.

Well I give LCS credit in that it's Pre GTA III Liberty City (takes place about 3 years before GTA III). There are subtle differences that change it up, such as motorcycles, slightly different layouts with a dirt track on the first island and the ferry terminal instead of the tunnel, and new side missions. I'm waiting to see how they changed up the other 2 islands.

Shoreside Vale has been expanded and also the first island has a new neigborhood
