It's no surprise that Lord of the Rings stayed on top for what could be it's last weekend. With Black Hawk Down moving in next week, expect a new #1 champ. But with LOTR staying on top for a month, it'll be a tough act to follow. A Beautiful Mind slipped only $1 million dollars since last week, showing that this movie will have some serious legs in thecoming weeks. The premiere of Orange County was much higher than anticipated as well. So...here's the rundown:
1. The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring - $16,150,000 ($228.2 mill)
2. A Beautiful Mind - $15,800,000 ($59 mill)
3. Orange County - $15,100,000 ($15.1 mill)
4. Ocean's Eleven - $7,535,000 ($162.5 mill)
5. The Royal Tenenbaums - $6,400,000 ($30 mill)
6. Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius - $5,500,000 ($69 mill)
