Andy Merrill, who does the voice of Brak, told me it won't be airing again for quite some time...if ever, because they lost the rights to the songs used in the clips... :( ....earlier this year, before Adult Swim started, Cartoon Network was showing clips from the show after Space Ghost Coast 2 Coast on Firday nights but they only showed clips becuase the clips with the songs can't be shown...

Yup, it was on every weekday afternoon on TNT when I was a kid. That was when it used to have Hanna-Barbera cartoons interspersed throughout the show. That was my introduction to the new Space Ghost. I wish they'd at least put it on in late night slots like they did a few years back.

...I'm still wondering HOW you lose the rights to songs YOU wrote?
"Well, here's all the songs I wrote."
"Hey, if you give me the rights to all of those, I'll be your best friend."
"Okay!"
"YOINK! SUCKER!"
Honestly, though, does it have to do with the CD? I've always been a bit unsure about Rhino, and I don't know why. Maybe it's because the covers of the MST3k DVDs are really freakin' ugly.

>>>>>i think they're talking about the music used as underscore for the sketches. also, i don't think all of the songs used original music. some of it was needledrop<<<<<
Paul McCartney was really hurt when Micheal Jackson bought the Beatles songs......... I think these songs were actually under a group of people, namely the producers, and could be sold if needed. I wouldn't question what or why things were done, Im sure it was in the best interests, maybe even just to keep the show on. But yeah, I too miss those......
