This is a character that I am working on for an artist battle site. I am still working on the final design, and trying to workout the kinks. The mallet in the picture is just a place holder. The final version will be more detailed to match the rest of the picture(s). Though I like the current design, I am open to suggestions on design. Take a look, and if you would like comment or critique. As always, Thanks for viewing, and please know that your comments/crits are truly appreciated.

Quick Bio: Allison Wonder is the only child of a Human Witch/Sorcerer and an Interdimensional Demonic Dictator. She is a reluctant magic user, but her primary attack method is making use of the large mallet that she keeps with her. Allison makes use of alchemy to transmute the mallet into various weapons as the situation or opponent dictates.

Wow, the designs looks superb! You really did a nice job on drawing the character in the comic book style. Like the poses and expressions you gave her also nice adding a hammer for her. The coloring of her looks great, gives it more dinamic on the pic.

Wow those are really well drawn. Very nice and clean lines. What pens did ya use? Looks very profesionally done. Good work.

I have to agree.:) Those are pretty nice designs and well-drawn. The mallet is a good weapon to give her. Can't wait to see the finalized weapon looks like. Keep up the good work.:)

JLU Dude: I have been in love with Mallets/Hammers as weapons every since Donkey Kong. Really, you don't see enough of this in video games, tv, or comics. I thought it would be pretty different, or at least from the other citizens of Void City anyway.

Itchy: I put the lines down with some random mechanical pencil, and then used STAEDTLER Pigment Liner Sketch Pens (.005mm, .01mm, and .03mm) for the inking. That brand has not let me down. I like the quallity of the lines I get from them, and they seem to last for a good while (even when stored for extended periods of time).

K.O.D.: Coloring is almost as fun as drawing. I am constantly trying to learn new tips, tricks, and techniques. I am still a novice, but with practice, I will get better at this soon enough. Eventually I will put down the mouse, and pick up some new equipment, but for now I just make due with the classics.

Thanks for sharring!

Good job on the pictures. You did a really good job on making them really clean looking. In the linked image, though, her middle finger is a little too far over -- it should be closer to her index finger where it sits more on top of the knuckle. Aside from that, I really like how everything turned out

Not sure if you already heard about it, but the Nintendo Wii will be getting a game where the main character wields a ginormous hammer for a weapon. The game is appropriately titled "Project H.A.M.M.E.R." and is quite fun (I tried a demo for it and had a good time with it), so you might want to look into it if you plan on getting a Wii.

Just thought you'd like to know. :anime:

Actually, that is news to me. I had planned on getting the Wii anyway, but Project H.A.M.M.E.R. sounds like something I will have to check out.;) Thanks for the heads up.

Also, you are 100% right about that middle finger on the linked picture. I think it is going to be my lose image, and I am correcting the finger as well as the Cromag forehead. I appreciate you taking a look and sharing!
