No, it's not on tonight...

It's on Jetix.TV. http://tv.disney.go.com/jetix/video/index.html

NOTE: This episode is actually skipping one. So, some spoilers (most notably a new cast member).

Two quick things... First, it's episode 587/1615 (not news worth of a post, but as long as I've got something else to say...).

Second, and more importantly, this episode makes its Toon Disney premier (June 12, 10:30pm) directly after the premier of the previous episode (1614: Long Ago). Thus, this is most likely the second part of a two part story. I won't watch it anyway, as I'd rather watch everything in order, but that makes waiting all the more important.

Also worth noting is that this comes to TD in a sixth ranger marathon, so you know what that means...

From what I saw (Jetix.TV SUCKS!), it's not a "Part Two".

EDIT- After watching MOST of the episode, (the player just froze on me) I can safely say that Xander's hair through half the episode is reminiscent of Zeo Rocky...

with their confusing schedule and my satellite always putting wrong listings, I have missed a lot of the recent episodes....
hopefully they have another marathon of the later episodes so i can catch up

I've been hearing that in early July, TD will start airing three back to back episodes of Mystic Force, I think a night M-F. It was listed on rangerboard.com and they said it would be to kinda help promote the Dark Wishes or whatever it's called, special for Mystic Force. Hope that helps :sweat:

First and foremost, not enough Toby. One line (albeit, a great one) is too little, especially following an episode without him. I want another Scaredy Cat! Also, the rangers are constantly running out on Toby. Why hasn't he fired them yet?

Moving on... Daggeron sounds too much like Cruger/Shadow Ranger. The accent usually separates them, but when he's in morph and using a deeper voice, it's just too similar. Still makes a great ranger though.

Roll call for the previous generation of wizards/sorcerers/mystics/whatever they are:

Udonna = White (Snow) Ranger
Daggeron = Solaris Knight
Alianbow (Koragg) = Night Wolf
Calindor (Imperious) = ???
Niello (Clare's Mother) = Shining Moon Warrior
Plus Jenji

Note the snow/sun/moon/night connection. Also, it looks like Nick's original name was Bowen. It all falls right into place.

A little late on my review of this, but better late than never I always say. This episode continues to show why Xander is the best Mystic Ranger. It was expected that he would be at odds with Daggeron. After all, he did just come out of nowhere and want to be in charge. It was funny the way he was being all negative about the training. Speaking of which, those were some really nice graphics on the flag training. My favorite part was when they were in the store and Xander is making fun of Daggeron and says, "He's right behind me.. isn't he?"

Daggeron is an interesting character. At times reminds me of Cruger, but brings a different personality to the table. Whereas Cruger was way too uptight, Daggeron is a little more chilled and I liked the character interaction between him and Xander. It was also cool to see how Xander's training helped him in Shalifar. Solar Streak is an interesting twist on the magical Zord aresenal. I was disappointed in its attacks though.

Jenji isn't as bad as I thought he'd be. His comments are actually pretty funny. One thing I've noticed though is he has had more focus than Sam the Omega Ranger. More focus than a Ranger... Didn't Kalish say that the reason Omega didn't get any focus is because he was just a suit? This is the same case for Jenji, but his presence is obvious during the episodes he's been in.

I'm hoping Daggeron has more appearences in the human world in the future. He appeared in the store in today's episode, but he doesn't interact with any of the characters like Toby, which would've been cool. That was funny though when Toby was flipping out over hearing the train leave the station.

Any Xander focus episode is always a plus. I like how even though Xander has a lot of issues, all of his focus episodes are a different issue and not the same problem revisited.
