hey who knows what score they used for the bugs and elmer version of barber of seville..was it really the barber of seville...specifically the tune used when bugs is rubbing the ointment into elmers head?

That soundtrack is, indeed, the overture to Gioacchino Rossini's famous opera, played in it's original arrangement. I confirmed this when I watched a preformance of 'The Barber of Seville' on PBS (at least I started to watch it- alas, the opera itself proved to be far more tiresome than the overture.)
