A typo in the title. That's always a joy.

I see some people come into the store I work at (in Hollywood) wearing what can only be described as costumes. Much of the crowd has several earrings in each ear, tatoos galore, brightly colored hair, etc. Some of it looks neat. Other time I think, "Why oh why would you do that to yourself?"

I don't have any piercings, tatoo's, etc, and I doubt I ever will. But I certainly don't frown upon it. To each their own, I say.

Well, in the past I have dyed my hair... and I am contemplating getting an eyebrow ring... tho, right now, there's nothing abnormal about me....

I do not have any of that, nor do I plan on getting it. I am just too reserved.

My girlfriend has a blue stripe down the right side of her hair (which is like four feet long) :) no piercings on either of us though...I kinda find them a little gross. And I`d never get a tattoo either.

If I wore anything unusual,I would wait until my 30`s so I wouldnt be thought of as another kid just trying to be "cool".I`d wear a gas mask, rubber gloves, and big clunky boots as part of my everyday outfit. This started as a joke about how easily I get sick (and I do get sick very easily) but now I think it sounds like a good idea.I can look like a scary bug person and not breathe in anyone`s cold germs at the same time!!!

About the only odd thing I do at the moment is wear a fishing vest everywhere I go...a ratty one crammed with almost ten pounds of STUFF...pen light, extending magnet, mini telescope,a field guide to insects, some random weird toys,a gameboy advance, clock, calculator, measuring tape, scotch tape, band aids, hand wipes, mints, small bottle of water, washcloth, tissues, reflective pocket blanket, mini umbrella,a rusty car logo, rubber bands........................................

I don't mean to look down on people, but i don't understand why some folks poke holes in their body to put shiny things in. Of course, i don't understand why some folks put soluble glue in their hair to make it stand up, but i do that. I guess it's all a form of self-expression. I'm just more reserved, like batboy.

ears periced, that's it. i want to highlight my hair and get a small ankle tatoo. still considering the tatoo. the pain........but the coolness........but the wrinkly skin when i get old.........but we all live only once........so many debates. and my friend's friend coming back from the middle east is buying tatoos for everyone and i was invited if i wanted a tatoo. i hope he stays in ft. drum until i decide for sure if i want one or not. :p

My ears are pierced once and my hair has blond highlights (well, it did until I let them grow out. :( ) I might get a small tattoo someday. I don't really feel like piercing or coloring anything else.

I've died my hair plenty of times and I'm currently contemplating getting a tattoo with a bunch of friends...but other than that...nothing. I don't see the point of sticking metal in various places on the body.

I'm needlephobic, so no holes here. I've contemplated getting a tattoo, but I'm afraid I'll manage to pick something that I'll get sick of in about ten years and be stuck with it.

Tattoos are forbidden in the Bible, you know (and I am not trying to stir any religious conversation here, really)...Leviticus 19:28. I have to see I don't see a point in tattoos. Or changing hair color or piercing or any of that jazz. Bunch of tomfoolery, if you ask me!

Nightflower used to have her ears pierced before they got infected and closed. She might dye a blue stripe in her hair or dye the ends blue (Can you tell she likes blue hair from her avatars?) in university where her mom can't kill her. She could see herself getting a tattoo in the future.

No piercings, no tattoos, and never died my hair (it's already discolored from the CA sun and from swimming anyhow.) I can't see myself considering any of it in the future either, it's just not me. :)

I'm interesting enough, so I don't have to decorate myself in order to make up for a lousy personality.

OK, OK, I rubbed on a temporary Daffy Duck the other day, and I'm glad I did it.

I would dye my hair , maybe green or red. But I've never really thought about it. I dont have any piercings, I've always been paranoid that it might get ripped out or something. And I have no tattoos and no plans to get one. Not a big fan of needles and I'm much too transient to commit to one.

--to tying my beard up in rubber bands a la Capt. Lou Albano--and back in '99 I shaved my entire head just for the sake of something different (and to see if it helped my hair grow in thicker--it really didn't, much). But no tats or piercings. Beards are great for experimenting with, and less permanent than most things.

And...does anyone else hear the voice of Ed in Cowboy Bebop while reading Nightflower's posts? (Which is a good thing, because I like Ed! :D )

I don't know who Ed is.....does it have something to do with referring to oneself in the third person? Hmmmm....sounds like Zusha to me. ;)

Ha ha ha, me with tatoos or pierceings?

I just don't like the idea of getting tatoos and piercings, and I like my hair color the way it is. People who do those things don't bug me, it's kind of cool on other people. It's just not for me.

Tattoos and piercing is so common these days it's got to the point where I feel quite the rebel by avoiding having it done.

That's a lie.

I did get my upper ear pierced several years ago. I no longer put anything in it and is just a tiny scar rather than a hole.

I have always dyes my hair (well since 17) - various lengths, different cuts, different styles.

I couldn't tattoo as I like to change my image regularly - I'm not interested in anything that I can't later get rid of!
