Just need to discuss a few questions regarding Evo Jean.

*Did u all enjoyed the voice of Jean provided by Venus Terzo?
* What is the Jean/Rogue controversy in Evo,I really never came to understand that.
*Why do people hate X-M:E Jean so much?
*Is she hot!

* What is the Jean/Rogue controversy in Evo,I really never came to understand that.

I always assumed that since Rogue absorbs the thoughts, powers, essence of an individual she touches, that since she touched Jean at one time, she absorbed her feelings for Scott/Cyclops. Hence, the controversy or rivalry.

1. Rogue resented Jean because she felt she was "too perfect", because Scott displayed his affection for her constantly (Rogue's crush on Scott was genuine, not absorbed from Jean), and because she thought Jean looked down upon her for not being as popular/what have you. She learned the first and third items to be untrue as she got to know Jean, and the second, well, it's Scott and Jean, deal with it.

2. This is all in your head.

3. This is, but should not be all in your head.

I didn't mind Jean in X Men Evo but I don't think she was very attractive compared to Rogue or Kitty. She seemed to have a little man jaw thing goin on. I like Venus voice, I was actually suprised when I read the Black Arachnia was the same voice for Jean.

1. I enjoyed this show's version of Jean. I've never been a massive fan of the character in any medium, but she wasn't too bad here. She was a little too annoying in the earlier episodes, but she was never cringeworhty. It would've been interesting to see her become Pheonix, that's for sure.

2. We don't. Some people think TAS is superior, but I've seen very little outright Evo bashing. I think most of it is in your head.

3. Dude, they're cartoon characters. There's no need for comments like this, we're supposed to be a child friendly forum.

Are we?

Then I have a lot of apologies to write specially in the Entertainment forum.

I'm just curious how many of us are kids? It's funny I never thought about it til now

Yea do kids even post on this site, I mean I'm a jr in highschool and I'm a bit intimidated to respond to some topics especially when they contain essays on the topic in quite a few posts. One of the greatest things about this site is the inteligence of the members and no offence to kids but in every forum I've seen with a heavy young'in population seems to be, well full of aol speak and idiocy(and this is usually 12 year olds posting too, children in the most literal sense would probably be worse). Then again there is a huge number of people who are members but I've never noticed posting.

Anyway:
1. She gave off a good voice for the character.
2.already been answered, because Jean was preppy and athletic while Rogue was an angsty goth, of course there would be clashes. Her feelings for cyclops only added to this.
3.They don't.
4. I don't have ink book fever, so no.

*Did u all enjoyed the voice of Jean provided by Venus Terzo? She was all right.

* What is the Jean/Rogue controversy in Evo,I really never came to understand that. I'm not sure what controversy you're talking about, but I know a lot of Evo fans (myself included) preferred Rogue over Jean and supported a Scott/Rogue romance, as improbable as it was.

*Why do people hate X-M:E Jean so much? The Jean hate has cooled down a lot since the show's heyday. Some of the younger female fans who related to Rogue a little too much disliked Jean purely because she represented the typical "popular girl." (And of course we all know that popular girls in high school are always mean, back-stabbing cheerleaders. Or not.) I disliked Jean because of her role in the love polygon. I thought she was often unreasonably jealous and irritating, and my long-lasting impression was that she didn't want Scott so much as that she didn't want other girls to have him.

*Is she hot! In a literal phoenix-y sense, yes.
