Who owns the rights to The Banana Splits Show? It seems like it was on Cartoon Network in the early 90s. It is an H-B program, so, does Warner own the rights? I would love to see this on DVD. My kids love to sing Tra-la-la.

It's H-B so it is Warners. You're probably best off setting the video recorder to tape the episodes off Boomerang. They run them in order. So after 6 weeks, you'll have the whole 36 episode run of Danger Island.

You better drop a few emails to Warner Home Video.
from what I gather the next big thing that's being done is the Atom Ant & Secret Squirrel collections (they're splitting the various characters (Hillbilly Bears, Precious Pup, Winsome Witch and the Immortal Squiddly Diddly apart so all the cartoons will be in each 4 DVD collections).
So maybe Banana Splits will be next on the slate - depending how the elements are doing. The show doesn't look that rough on Boomerang - especially compared to Wally Gator.
