Gundam Wing: Tiel's Impulse and Sidestory?

Been working around the Wikipedia pages recently. I was suspicous about an entry for "Gundam Wing: Tiel's Impluse" and "Gundam Wing Sidestory: A Scythe in My Right Hand, You in My Left". I did a search for both and got nothing. I assumed they were fanfiction, but I'm too sure. Has anyone ever heard of these?

Heard of both. The first is an AU photo book which was released at the time of Endless Waltz. Basically, OZ beat the Gundam pilots and start producing their own variants of them. In testing an improved version of the Zero System, the OZ test pilot using it goes on the run. His brother tries to find him.

The other is a Duo sidestory set during Wing. I've read the first chapter ages ago, it basically involves him getting involved with a girl of the same age in the colonies. She hates OZ which earns her the scorn of her mother who's in a relationship with an OZ officer.

I believe Tiel is the name of the character looking for his lost sibling. From what I've heard both stories use original characters. They've been discussed briefly at GOUF and MAHQ. I know Tiel's Impulse also brings in the G-Unit Gundams from 'Last Outpost'

EDIT- As a nagging feeling told me, Tiel's a she and not a he.

I don't think it gets too serious, as I remember he's hiding out in the colony for a while (he tries to register at a school and finds Heero is already using his name). Besides, he seems pretty officially paired with Hilde.

Well, the plot is kind of funky.. i have seen a few scanlations thanks to my "contacts" We get Wing Zero OVA design, just with some kind of Angelmon Ultimate Form Wings.

I think that's the Wing Zero Seraphim.

Some of the new designs are easy as heck to make. One of the Sandrock and Deathscythe upgrades just needs you to have the two kits complete, likewise with the 2 G-Unit kits involved and then you just swap parts where polycaps meet.

To back up HellCat, Tiel is described as a "she" there. She's looking for her brother, who apparently disappared testing the Gundam Lucifer. I'm guessing that's a variant of the Epyon.

As a scenario Tiel's Impulse works well enough, but I'm not at all a fan of this ZERO system 2.5 nonsense. The Zero system with no risks or side-affects is overpowered and it wrecks the whole man/machine theme Wing had going on.

I must say though some of the related variants are amazing, such as this one (http://www.mahq.net/Mecha/gundam/w-msv/gundamsky-higharms.htm). Others, like that "Thunder Griffon" Gundam, look like G Gundam rejects (...a naga Gundam?)

I'm actually wondering if those are the correct variants now, since the Tiel's Impulse photos I've seen all use the Katoki versions. It's possible the variations came first and Tiel's used them for influence. I do agree though they mostly look out of place. I think someone was thinking too much of the 'pretty boy knights' side of Wing when they drew these up.

Well, All I can figure on Tiel's Impulse is that it makes a Really good basis for a side story RPG.

Veeery good fun.

Otherwise it's just the mystery story that no american short of those who understand japanese and can track a copy down can get.
