After seeing the movie on Toonami, I was wondering if there's an animated version of the Ultimate Avengers being made to broadcast on TV. It would make up for the conclusion of the entire Justice League animated series.

There isn't no, unfortunatly. The sequel will be released direct to DVD on August 8th though. :)

That sucks! It would've been great on Toonami as the perfect lead-in to Adult Swim.

well, perhaps after Lion's Gate has fulfilled their contract w/ Marvel (I think they're obligated to produce 8 DTVs) a series will get off the ground. I believe the Ultimate Avengers DTV will be a trilogy. (I never read the comics so I'm just guessing)

it's been a while since I read the article but I believe Lion's Gate is producing the following titles:

Ultimate Avengers: 3
Iron Man: 2?
Captain America: 1...maybe 2
Ghost Rider: 1

take comfort in knowing that CN will soon be premiering their new Fantastic Four series this Fall (Sept-ish). A new Wolverine & The X-Men series is in the works. If the Ultimates prove succesful perhaps Marvel will find a studio to greenlight an Ultimate Spider-Man series before this decade concludes.

FYI: if you don't mind live-action, I think SpikeTV is debuting a live-action Blade series this Summer/Fall.

I like the straight-to-video concept for now.. bypass any dumb network restrictions, etc.

for what it's worth, i really don't want another "United We Stand" show.. bleh..
