Is anyone else catching onto this? I think Timm or Fogel said something like in a fight she is basically wolverine. I take that, combine it with the colors of her mask, and it seems like a possibility.
By the way, if anyone is offended, Wolverbroad was a parody comic put out by darkhorse or an independent line in the early 90's I believe.

I like this version of Hawkgirl. There's something about her that I find very appealing.

I like this Hawkgirl too. Her edge makes her interesting. Its also funny that most of us were uneasy about her. Now its obvious that she rocks. We should have trusted that Tim wouldnt have gone ahead with a stupid idea and that he found a way to make a way her interesting.

Wow, her mask does look a little like Wolverine's! Good call!
I always thought that Hawkgirl's presence in the Justice League was considerable: this is the first time that a sidekick has actually supplemented the importance of the “primary” character [Hawkman]. Supergirl, Robin, Wonder Girl, Speedy, etc.—they’ve either died, been replaced, or have been discarded altogether as the characters have gone on to have their own separate careers.
This must be because of Hawkman's dwindling importance in the comics (his recent relaunch notwithstanding).

Hawkgirl is also very pleasant to the eyes unlike Hawkman. I wouldn't mind to have a girlfriend as fiery as her.

Hawkgirl rocks!
I think she's great. She's easy on the eyes, and don't be fooled by outward appearances. She can kick some SERIOUS tail! I loved how she took out 4-5 Manhunters in "In Blackest Night," Part 1.
So, will she and the Flash be an item anytime soon? Loved her "Down Boy." If I were him, I'd be certain I took it 'nice and slowly.' LOL! :)

If things don't workout with her and Flash, she can always come to me. I'm much more a gentleman than the Flash! ;)

Yeah, I may have to have a heart-to-heart with the Flash. Do you think his pickup lines need work?
And did you see Hawkgirl's response to his question, "Is there a Hawkboy?" Ha! She remained silent, and instead winged it on over to JJ, preferring to keep to the subject at hand. I tell ya, the girl's all business--er, at least for now. :)

Flash's line wern't too bad. I think the reason she kept silent is because:
1. She's not interested in a relationship at this moment or
2. She's playing hard to get.
They would make an interesting couple though.

Hot Rod,
I like both of your reasons. I think she's not interested yet, and she's playing hard to get. But the Flash won't give up easily. After all, he's a fast mover. ;) And one thing's for sure. Hawkgirl ain't no Manhunter. :D

LOL! She's definately no Manhunter. And yes, the Flash is a fast mover who thinks he's God's gift to women. :D But that's what makes the Flash a funny and cool character.

Yeah, I like the Flash. I hope that came through in my posts! But I just looked up 'cool' in the dictionary, and Hawkgirl's pic was there. :D
Okay, just so you don't think Hawkgirl is all I think about--
I think that JL is awesome. When I first tuned in (my introduction was a repeat performance of "Secret Origins" a few weeks ago) I was blown away by how good it was. I was a bit confused, though, having seen Aquaman in the episodes, and then seeing this girl with wings in the opening. I was trying to spot Aquaman, but couldn't find him. And he was almost villain-like in his desire to save Atlantis. I didn't know whose side he was on at first!

I don't think about Hawkgirl all the time either. But for some reason, she's become my favorite female DC animated hero. I even like her more than Batgirl. And yes, JL is a great show that will only get better.

Hot Rod,
What in the world did Hawkgirl have for breakfast yesterday, nuts and bolts? I mean, she walked into the bar last night and kicked some serious tail all over the place. For a moment, I thought I was watching "Walker, Texas Ranger"--LOL!
"Wait! Hawkgirl's right." When I heard that, I was actually sort of relieved, truth be told. I mean, it's great that she's able to beat up a gazillion bodies, but I wanted her to save her strength for later. And who was it that was impressed with her punching/fighting abilities? I can't remember who commented on it, but someone did last night. It may have been one of the GL crowd.... :)
