They interviewed him a year and a half ago? For a box set that's only coming out now? Grr.

Anyway, nice interview! This is the kind of stuff I'd like to have on the DVDs (and the kind of thing we actually get on DC releases), with some real insight into the behind the scenes workings. It's amazing how such a 'flying by the seat of their pants' approach rendered such great results.

So, a big thank you to Boyd Kirkland and of course, to Stu!

Did he talked about the " Current treatment of the shows' DVDs?
I liked the season 3 episodes DVD version screenshots in the interview.

Another really well-done interview. It's nice to see that Toon Zone is one of the few sites to give Marvel shows similar treatment to the DC shows with interviews and websites. I am a bit worried that he mentions he has yet to be interviewed for a future X-Men: Evolution DVD. I'd like to see more stuff from the creators. I still hope we're going to see the final season collected before the year is out. Another really well done Marvel interview and I hope there are more on the way in the future.

I do try, and I hope to get more. Interviews aren't easy to get completed (as you see from the various "Coming Soon" interviews I have on the site) and they're hard work to do in terms of thinking of interesting things to discuss. An interview is only as good as the questions asked, luckily, Boyd's never short on interesting things to say!


I'd like to see more stuff from the creators. I still hope we're going to see the final season collected before the year is out. Another really well done Marvel interview and I hope there are more on the way in the future.

We've got a few planned, but the creative teams are really, really busy. They're extremely cool to have on the site, and it's great to get them since there are so few stellar Marvel animation sites, and even less creator interviews based on the Marvel shows. It's also worth noting that even if they don't manage to find the time to talk, there always nice about it. Some cool people there!

So having said that, big thanks to Boyd for taking the time to talk to us! Glad you all enjoyed the interview! :)
