I know there's another thread for this game, but that was for the E3 trailer and this strikes me as major enough to deserve its own topic.

It struck me as plausible, but nonetheless I'd appreciate it if the thread title could be altered by a mod to have a question mark since its in doubt. I'd do it myself but I don't seem to have that option. A lock will do if it turns out to be certain its BS.

If this is a hoax then I'll say sorry for that, this was a subject of discussion among my WoW guild and they generally know what they're talking about...maybe not this time.

I can add a "?" If this is legit, it is completely awesome. And by awesome I do mean totally sweet.

Fire Emblem? Golden Sun? Advance Wars? Freakin' Bubble Bobble? Bub is not to be messed with.

Of course, if they wanted to make it more realistic, then they should've made their own character models instead of using game artwork.

Yeah, why would some of the character icons be in 2-d instead of 3-d? With De De De I think they took the artwork from the cartoon. Little Mac's design must be from the comics or something. It would be nice to play as Little Mac on Smash Bros. though, I think he's certainly more popular than the Ice Climbers. I have to wonder what his moves would be though. His only special move on punch out is the super punch. Actually, though, maybe it might be better to use a more popular Punch Out character, like King Hippo, Great Tiger, or Vodka Drunkinski.

Considering how a YTMND site had a picture of this lineup with the caption "You Wish", I definitely believe that this is a fake list, although I'm sure a lot of people will want to see most of these characters in the next SSB (as well as some Sonic characters and Doc Louis from Mike Tyson's Punch-Out).

i doubt it's real as in previous smash bros installments, all the characters' selection panels looked like they did in the game. obviously, all these characters' selection panels are based off images captured from their respective previous games

besides, i don't think there's enough substance to warrant a new thread for this kind of info and since the other smash bros thread is already full of character wishes/guesses, i'm going to close this one
