Batman vs Lex Luthor
I love this one because it is the greatest mortal hero against the greatest mortal villain.
We saw this many times... "World's Finest", "Injustice For All," "Tabula Rasa", "A Better World", "Divided We Fall", et cetera. Batman fought Luthor in close combat FAR more than Superman ever did.


Dick Grayson vs Terry McGinnis in hand to hand combat
Out of costume, though. Terry's suit amplifies his strength five-fold, where Nightwing relies on natural muscle. I never cared much for Dick Grayson as Robin (always thought he was wimpy) until I saw "Subzero." Man... that motercycle chase... that was Dick's moment to shine.


Ultra Humanite vs Grodd
Could do without this one. I never liked either of them.


AMAZO vs Zeta
AMAZO, no contest. He has the power of the entire Justice Leage and about a million other alien beings.


Static Shock vs Livewire
Water can kill Limewire, but not Static. This one goes to Virgil.


Doomsday vs Mongrul
Better yet, Darkseid vs Mongul

Isn't Wayne Industries intl too? I thought Bruce would travel to other locations on business when he had to. In fact, didnt he travel to Europe on business when Superman dressed up as Batman?

I think a good question is who is smarter, Lex or Bruce. Lex probably...especially on the scientific level, I think Bruce admitted it too when he confronted Waller in the Cadmus Operations room saying "only 3 people on Earth could have taken control of the watchtower remotely and two of them were on the tower already, leaving..."

Scientifically Lex is smarter, but Bruce is probably smarter when planning strategic and tactical analysis it seems, tho I do give Lex props for being able to think ahead and subdue the entire Legion.

If I remember correctly, it is where Wonder Woman decides to go out on the town with a princess. And, the princess' dad is Vandal Savage. Anyway, this guy that works for Vandal Savage wore a neck brace or something and he could direct a really loud sound when he opened his mouth, and I meand OPENED IT WIDE.

I sure the comic Trickster was more deadler and more evil than the cartoon Trickster. I was pretty upset with how they protray the Flash villians in that one.

I think a good question is who is smarter, Lex or Bruce.

I've debated that very question with many of my friends. Most of them argue Luthor, but I definitely argue Batman. I won the argument. That isn't to say that Lex is a pushover, though. Ah, the memories...

Oh, and my dream fight would have to be:

Wild Cat VS. Batman.

The cartoon Trickster was sort of a mish-mash of the Live-Action one (acted by Mark Hamill) and the comic one. The comic one is a harmless petty thief whos totally sane, even reformed for a while when he realized he could make more money on the right side of the law. The live-action version was a psychotic genius with multiple-personality disorders, a true threat to the Flash.

So the cartoon version is a semi-reformed petty thief with mental problems.

As corny as the villains were portrayed in that episode, for some reason, it was acceptable only because it was Flash's rogues gallery. Only in the world of Flash would we see something where all the villains "hang out at some joint on 4th street." It is just so comical and ridiculous that it fits in totally with the Scarlet Speedster's persona and why he is the way he is.:p

Batman vs. Lex Luthor: I've never been one to buy into the whole "given time to prepare, Batman can beat anyone" nonsense (give Green Lantern 24 to prepare for a fight with Batman and see who comes out second best), but I would give Batman an undeniable edge over Luthor becuase Luthor simply wasn't accustomed to getting his hands dirty until he started challenging the Justice League. Batman is down in the Gotham trenches every night, and he's more accustomed to thinking on his feet, improvising backup plans, working under pressure, and fighting dirty.

Atom Smasher vs. Giganta: Giganta's has no particular skill for fighting people her own size. Atom Smasher has (he took out a couple of Longshadow clones). Atom Smasher wins this one.

Dr. Fate vs. Tala: Tala is a reasonably talented sorceress; Dr. Fate is the DCU's #2 magic user behind the Spectre. No contest.

Dick Grayson vs. Terry McGinnis: Dick has many years more experience, plus trained mano-a-mano with Batman. Dick wins this one.

Ultra Humanite vs. Grodd: Grodd has psychic powers, military training (he was a general in Gorilla City), and a considerably higher appetite for bloodshed. But the Ultra Humanite's intelligence is much higher, he is a more careful planner, more of a big-picture thinker, and less inclined to over-extend himself than Grodd, and with his super-evolved brain, he may have the will to resist Grodd's psychic control. I'm giving this to Ultra Humanite, who wins on points.

Amazo vs Zeta: Two seconds and it's over. Amazo.

Static vs. Livewire: Livewire con conceivably produce both a higher voltage and amperage than Static (enough to knock Superman off his pins), but she tends to just overpower her opponents. Static is a strategic thinker who's smart enough not to get into a whizzing contest with someone stronger than himself, and since he already knows all the weaknesses of an electrically-powered metahuman, would know how to capably exploit them.

Plastic Man vs. Elongated Man: Plas is more versitile, but Elongated Man is smarter and doesn't waste time trying to weird out his opponents. Ralph takes this one narrowly.

Cyborg vs. STRIPE: STRIPE wins this one because all of Cyborg's soft parts are on the outside. Too much exposed target material for fighting an entirely-encased opponent.

Clayface vs. Inque: I can't pick a winner on this one, but the real loser is the poor slob who has to clean the carpet afterwards. Ewww.
