In Newsarma's Joe Fridays they've been asking Joe about Marvel characters that aren't being used in ongoing series'. I think that would be fun to do here. So in this format:

Best suited for (animation): cameo, supporting cast, movie, or series
Best suited for (comics): supporting, limited series, ongoing
Why it worked/Didn't (animation)

I think She-Hulk could make for a great supporting cast member or occasional cameo as apart of Marvel's legal system. There's alot of potential for her to appear in many shows. As long as they play her along the lines of Dan Slott's version we could have a great character.

Why it worked/Didn't (animation)

The Avengers: United They Stand - Poor animation and lackluster stories.

Chance of Seeing Them in a Starring Role (animation)

Got to go with Daredevil. No question!

Best suited for (comics): Firestar I miss her but We're going to hjave this comic in august that's enough for me.
Why it worked Evo The series humanized the X-men and allowed us to see how they became a team.

Chance of Seeing Them in a Starring Role (animation): I'm going with ol' hornhead too I love him so much.

If networks and standards stopped getting in the way, I've no doubt that Spider-Man could be the very best animated show ever. The potential is certainly there, he has a fantastic supporting cast, an outstanding rouges gallery and the character himself, when written correctly, is one of fiction's finest. He's also very popular, one only has to look towards the movies to see that.

Why it worked/Didn't (animation)

The opening season of Fantastic Four never seemed to figure out what it wanted to be - silly comedy, action cartoon or an action comedy cartoon. It frequently went into all three, leaving it with often good stories done in a horrible manner and usually ending comically when it really wasn't trying to be funny. Season two worked because it finally found out what it wanted to be (action cartoon) and set out to make it as enjoyable as possible, plus, it gave fanboys plently to be happy about.

Iron Man season one, on the other hand, came about 20 years too late. Season two worked because it built upon season one, quickly fixed what was wrong with it and replaced it with some exceptional writing and arguably, the most interesting character that Marvel has ever animated.

What needs to be changed (animation)

It's practically impossible to anwser this question without having something that needs changing. Ask me again when FF starts airing. :)

Chance of Seeing Them in a Starring Role (animation)

Time to give the devil his due. Daredevil.
