This is my first time watching Adult Swim. I like the pool scenes like I like the spaceship scenes in Toonami, so we I go:
Home Movies: Seems like an ok show. Has a couple of good laughs. I'd see it again.
Baby Blues: Why is this on here? This show isn't good at all. The jokes feel forced, and it tries to be like Family Guy (if you take out the fun).
Aqua Team Hunger Force: What the heck? I don't know what to make of this show. Maybe someone can help me understnad what happened here.
I'll post some more of my opinions later.

Actually, "Baby Blues" was in development for The WB since 1997. It didn't finally air on The WB until 1999. The show just moved to Adult Swim, so it predates "Family Guy."

Nevertheless, Family Guy is WAY better.

I hated Home Movies and Aqua Teen Hunger Force when I first started to watch them, but the style of humor in those shows have really grown on me and I don't know if I can quite explain it, or tell you what's going on in ATHF. I just can say give them a chance, they are great shows once they grow on you.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't exactly hate these two shows (Home Movies was kinda cool). I will be fair and give these shows another chance (except maybe Baby Blues, which is the worst show so far).
In the mean time, I watched Sealab 2021 and it was a little confusing. The guy who has white hair reminded me of Peter Graves and acted kind of like that guy from Airplane ("Oh, May Day we can get balloons, have a party..."), but I don't remember the guy's name. It had some good moments.
I watched Space Ghost and I loved it. The best show on Adult Swim so far.
I like the animation on Cowboy Behop. However, in order to give it a fair chance, I would rather see the series from the very beginning.
So to sum it up, I liked Space Ghost, Home Movies, and Sealab 2021.
Thumbs down to Baby Blues.
And a spilt decision for Hunger Force and Cowboy Bebop.

Wow, lots of Baby Blues bashing. Maybe its just marketed to a different age group? How many of you have had kids and delt with similar problems?

I say not towards an age group, but just towards a group. A group made up of stressful parents who need comic relief.
For example, the scene where the parents are "kidnapped" and the general asks where the location is and brings out the crying child to force the parents into submission. I have no doubt that some parents feel that way, but the joke isn't funny because I knew EXACTLY what would happened before they tried the joke.
What is funny about an obvious joke? Nothing.

I am going to go against the grain and say I support Baby Blues on Adult Swim. I am not the show's biggest fan but it's not all that bad, either. And maybe it doesn't work well on Sunday night, but perhaps if they make a new line up for Thursday, it will get transplanted and better placed on the schedule. Personally, I am for variety on Adult Swim, and this show bring that. As much as I like Home Movies, I'd rather have Baby Blues on than a full hour of Home Movies.

I feel the exact opposite. I'd rather have an hour of Home Movies than Baby Blues. Variety is all good, but let it be a good variety, not Baby Blues quality.
I will say one good thing about it: It looks like the comic strip. Too bad it isn't funny like the comic strip.

You're thinking of Stephen Stucker.

CB is very episodic, so you didn't miss much. If you want to know what happened though, you can either wait for them in rotation again, or do what I did and read episode summaries on CB websites, which there are a lot of. You can also get character info and stuff like that.

and http://www.asteroidblues.com/main.html
are both very good.

I was hoping to wait for every episodic show (like Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebp, Tenchi, DBZ, and any others I missed) to start from the beginning which is the way I like watching the shows. Unfortunately, I don't know how to find the first episode.

Well, I thought Baby Blues sucked. Although there were parts that made me laugh, other parts made me angry. Generally when I'm watching a comedic cartoon, this is not a prefferable feeling.
Cowboy bebop has also made me mad, however it was during instances where inciting anger at the characters was a goal, IE: What happens to Julia makes me really angry at vicious so that I can almost feel the rage that Spike must feel.
Baby Blues made me angry, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps other episodes will have a prefferable effect, otherwise I will continue to believe that is sucks.
As for the Other Shows, I enjoy them, Home Movies is funny in a sarcastic way, (reminds me of people I knew in High School. ) AquaTeam is funny just because it's absurd, Sea Lab is Hilarious because they go places with their jokes that NO ONE else does. The Fact that they still suprise me (whereas most shows are predictable) is great.
SGCTC: What Can I say, The First Episode i ever saw was the funniest one with Space Ghost's Grandpa: The Grey Ghost (played by the Macho Man, Randy Savage...OOOOhhhhh YEAH.)
"I Made your Grandpa Squeeeeal like a pig in that Steel Cage Match"
That show had me ROFL...
And I have already said that I LOVE Cowboy Bebop.
(Auctually, it takes alot for me to not like something, however for some reason Baby Blues makes me angry...)

I myself don't watch more than 1-2 hours of Home Movies a week, depending on the schedule (which they keep changing). Home Movies is the show that got me watching Adult Swim. As i sat there watching the squiggly lines and the long dialouges, i thought to myself "lame". But as sum1 said (in this post or another one), the stuff grows on you. By the end of the one hour block I was in love with the show. I also watch Cowboy Bebop when I can from 12-1am. Cowboy Bebop is (in my opinion) the best anime ever (and no I haven't seen just the stuff on tv), and one of the better drawn tv shows shown in America. It's one of those things you have to see from start to finish tho. What i picked up on is that in Japan they cancelled CB after season 1 (eps.1-13) because of the intense violence. If you pay close attention to the animation, you'll notice that it actually gets worse as the series continues. You have to figure that the animators said "screw it, theyre not airing it on tv anymore anyway". Thats the only thing that disappointed me in the series. Space...naw, ill just say SGCTC isn't bad, but just doesnt give me as many laffs as home movies does or cant hold my attention as long as CB does. And the others one i haven't seen yet. Theres my 2 cents.
