I have two cats, one is a male named Sylvester, which does kind of look like "Sylvester the cat" and one name Ricky, because when my sister first got her, the cat was zipping between rooms at lightening fast speeds. Now, Ricky is just a lump on beds.

Well, I used to have a cat named Alex, and a German Shorthaired Pointer named Candy. Then we got a new Dog, Skittles, who's a Corgie/something mix...and a new cat named Zack (short for Prozac)

Then within days of each other Candy & Alex died...it was very sad...now I'm sad thinking about it.

*sigh*

ok, I'm going now..

I keep asking Dad and his girlfriend when we can apply for status as a bird sanctuary - they have gone nuts and we now have 14 birds living with us! They are housed in the basement apartment (we live in a duplexed house).

First of all there are Peaches the parrotlet and Snuggles the conure (we're not too sure if they are male or female - we'll need to wait until their first molt to find out). Then there are the cockatiels. To make it easy, I made a list telling their gender and what mutation they are. If there's an asterisk, it means that they are too young for us to tell their gender yet.

Chalky - female, cinnamon whiteface
Hootie - male, whiteface
Huey - male, cinnamon
Nibbles - pearl *
Sunny - female, lutino
Pacey - male, gray
Patches - male, pied
Pepper - gray *
Sprite - female, gray
Toasty - male, cinnamon whiteface
Treeney - female, pearl
Tweeter - female, pearl

I've got two male cats named Nicholas John and Norman Theodore (yes, we gave them middle names :D ). I used to have a bird named Starlight that I'd had since I was in the 3rd grade... but she died a few years ago...

Then there was Mickey, but my parents gave him away... and before that, there was Rocky. My parents got him before I was born and we had him for several years before he died. I loved that dog. Sigh... :(

My brother, sister, & I have 4 animals all together.

I have 2 cats. Shadow(boy) & Sniffles(girl). Shadow is like...Garfield with a real Batman complex(hehe, I loves him). And Sniffles is your cliche' kinda cat.
My brother has a stinky little brat of a cat, named Spider(he can honestly climb anything. He is Spider-Man in cat form!). That stupid animal doesn't know how to clean himself...he smells bad.
And my sister has a little dog, named Storm. Its a Shiba Inu? I think? Basically, its the Midget of all dog-dom. ;) She's a good dog.

And yes, I realize its kinda weird how the guys have cats, & the girl has a dog..hehe...I know :p

we had a few cats
back in 1993, had a cat named blondie. then we got a kitten named toodles. they used to fight constantly. toodles always won!! soon after, we booted blondie because she started crapping everywhere. toodles was a dream! she came when we called her. she loved to play with people. she ate our roaches. at night, she'd lie beside you and her content purr would lull you to sleep...i miss her. we had to leave her behind when we moved in '94.

We have 2 cats, a little one named Dinah and a big fat cat. The fat cat's name is Blinky (okay, it was named by the me & my brother at a very young age!) but everyone calls it Fatto or Fatty. She's a grey tabby and has some problem with her thyroid gland, so her metabolism is really slowed down. She has to take pills and is even more lethargic than she used to be. When she gets cuts from her fights they take forever to heal. She still has some hair missing from a big fight that she had probably 2 years ago, and not because it's scarred either. She is pretty happy though, so it's not as sad as I'm making it sound.

Dinah is full grown but seems kind of small. I dunno if that's the size her breed (grey tiger) his when they are fully grown or what. She is very thin and hyperactive and is the noisiest cat I've ever seen. She meows a lot, sometimes if she wants to be fed or something, but often for no apparent reason.

Pierre the poodle, and Spike the bulldog mix (I think). Also my brother and sister-in-law just got two hampsters, one of each sex, despite the poor luck we've had with the little buggers in the past....

I have a dog, a cat, and two dwarf hamsters. The dog's a white German Shepherd and her name's Lucky. She's a cutie, but sneaky too. The cat is white with big black patches. She can be a brat at times, but she's not a bad cat. Her name is Spunky, though she spends most of time sleeping. The two hamsters are Pixie and Trixie. One's female and the other is male. We were lucky to find that out and put them in separate cages before any baby hamsters showed up. :p

I've had a Samoyed named Samson, a hamster named Fuzzball, a bird named C-Bird (it could've been a cockatiel, but I can't remember), and numerous fish.

My next door neighbor adopted two greyhounds. One's named Pax. My dad thinks the other is named War while I think it's named Romanus. I don't know know it's real name, though.

Yeah, a pet thread...I love pets threads! :D

I have a wondeful cat named Tuffy (hence my user name). He's a beautiful Himalayan, but he doesn't have the ugly, smashed face like most long-haired cats do, so he has a very cute face. I've had him since I was in second grade. He very open towards me...I'm his person, I guess...but he's a HUGE scardy-cat when it comes to any person outside our family. Despite his shyness I love him to death...he's a great cat.

We have another cat who kinda belongs to my mom. His name is Topaz (we call him Topie, though...I have no idea why...I think my dad came up with it  ). He came into my parent's animal hospital about two years ago. He couldn't walk because he had fractures in three of his legs. Wethink he was a stray and was hit by a car. I fell in love with him, and finally got him to walk (bribing him with food). We adopted him and he healed up pretty nicely, with only a slight limp, weak back legs left over from the accident. He's a sweet little yellow tabby with Topaz colored eyes.

We also have a very good Golden Retriever named Libby, two parkeets, a hamster, and a lot of fish. :D

I've gone through 10 goldfish. I finally figured out what was happening to them when I was 7:

My father would talk to them and tell them they were going to be bait on the next fishing trip. Next morning, like clockwork, Fishy, Goldy, or whichever victim was in the bowl would be belly up.

I used to have a pet plant Slurp, but, well, my experimentations with it to turn it into cactus didn't work out :D.

Peace and Rock 'n' Roll
The Guitar Slayer

No, I did not have a normal childhood.

I have one dauschund and two cats. The two cats are okay, but my dog keeps on eating everything from cat food to fuzzy slippers. My dad nearly threw him out because he chewed up his wallet and driver's lisence. He ate the money that was in there as well. :p

3 dogs:
Lucky- male golden retriever/chow mix, picky eater
Lai-shi- I didn't name this 1, my aunt did; doberman/German sheperd mix, not too bright, female
Pompom- female pom, sheds a lot

I love them all! (More than I like my friends or parents, which says a lot about my friends or parents!)

3 cats, 2 dogs and a rabbit (I think that's the first mentioned so far!) I've actually have a page on my website with pictures here (http://www.dkw316.com/calico/pets.html) .

Cats : 1 long-haired calico (duh!) named Candy, but we just call her Miss Kitty. She hates everyone but me. The two other we got from the local shelter. They were found together and are so attached to each other they didn't want them separated. Flower (b&w longhair) is adorable and lovey, if a bit of a scatterbrain. Tux (b&w shorthair) has real social issues. He spent the first year hidden in the basement. But he's starting to really join the family. I've never seen two cats so devoted to each other. They sleep curled up together and groom each other.

Dogs : 2 shepard-husky mixes. We got Brandy as a puppy six years ago, and even though she weighs over 70 lbs now, she's still a puppy. Carson we got from the shelter as a companion for Brandy. He has a sever phobia of thunderstorms. He's torn through two doors and we have to tranquilize him if we have enough warning.

Rabbit : Cinnamon is a reddish brown lop-eared rabbit we got from the state fair one year. He has his own room, and even though he's half their size, he chases the cats around room.

Well, I use to have loads of fish, but after they all died...I couldn't get anymore....they all lived like 5 years, which is long for goldfish. Anyhoo, I have two cats and a dog.
The first cat, Sheba, is old, a tabby, and very fat, my grandma over feeds her, it's gonna kill that cat.
The second cat, Binky, is a kitten on a sugar high. She's always running around attacking things, or she's sleeping. She's a Bengal, one of the newer breeds, and she totally rules.
My dog, Charlie (girl), is a german shepherd keshound. She's super sweet and loyal, but none to bright I think. But she is so friendly and adorable. I use to lease horses, but not anymore *sobs*, they were really cool. One was an ex racehorse, he had a lot of spunk and was fun to ride fast. The other, i can't recall the breed, but she was very sweet and was great to take and just walk around with for hours. Well, that's it....and I need to find the kitten on crack because she's probably getting into something, bye!

We've currently got two cats living with us. One is a gray/black-striped male
named "Tigger", and the other is a light tan colored female , "Grace", both of the domestic shorthair variety. Tigger is pretty laid back, but Grace is a little high strung, the least little thing scares her! Her favorite thing to play with is ice cubes, she just loves batting them around on the floor! I've even seen her try to get them out of a glass! Tigger's toy of choice is wadded up balls of tin foil. You flick it across the room, and he'll bring it back to you! Well, I guess that's enough for now!

Cats,dogs,fish,cats,dog...where are the EXOTICS!?! :)

I have no pets right now, being that they died mostly of old age,but my last ones were giant madagascar hissing cockroaches, giant prickly stick insects (they look more like very fat, slow moving mantises with spiny leaflike growths who "dance" as they walk) and a giant death`s head cockroach (not to be confused with the "death`s head moth"...both insects have a skull-shaped marking) who died due to complications while molting his exoskeleton (his old head didnt come off properly and blocked his new head`s mouth and I didnt even notice until it was too late...very sad,but that kind of thing just happens) I also used to have a salt water tank inhabited at different times by a variety of tropical crabs, anemones, starfish, urchins, corals, sponges, sea slugs, miniature horshoe crabs, and even a jellyfish (it only lasted a few days though...theyre too delicate) I also owned treefrogs,a gecko, hermit crabs, crayfish, millipedes and a Mudskipper (yes,a mudskipper) for several years when I was very, very young.I loved my mudskipper but havent seen them in petstores ever since...

My girlfriend in new york,on the other hand, currently owns a Vieled chameleon,Flying Gecko,Rough green snake, ferret, three rats (rats are WONDERFUL,adorable, super intelligent pets!!!) a dozen big green tadpoles,an albino african clawed frog,a paddletail newt,an egyptian Spiny Mouse,a giant millipede,a discoid cockroach, lobster cockroach, two giant cave cockroaches, and a regular old garden variety wolf spider that she keeps in a small tank and feeds crickets.

Her hissing cockroach and death`s head cockroach recently died of old age.She has had hundreds of other pets in the past and manages to care for each one properly...it`s just amazing how much research she does before buying a pet so that she can provide it with an absolutely perfect diet and environment, right down to temperature, lighting, humidity level and grooming...

I`m actually kind of surprised by how "conventional" everyone`s pets here are :p

I plan on getting a new pet soon, but want it to be something i`ve never had before...maybe a giant centipede...but as cool and pretty as they are you have to feed them mice, and I could just never do that...

In the distant,distant,far-off future I hope to get an armadillo, flying fox, hellbender salamander or a cephalopod (octopus/squid/cuttlefish...I need to set up my salt tank again) of course the first three would cost well over a few thousand dollars counting the permits and housing requirements...but i`ll start saving! I think itd also be neat to own a blind cave salamander, but I have no idea where you would get one.

And I recently read that common fleas can go for years without food,so if I find one again (we havent had cats in the house in a long time so I havent seen any in ages) I may put it in a teency tiny jar (maybe poke a pinhole in a small vending machine egg) and keep a flea.I think theyre cute...yes I`m serious.

i wish i could have a cat but i can't have anything like that in the dorms. my mom's allergic to cats too. used to have an adorable guinea pig......now i have a beta fish, which surprisingly didn't die yet, seeing how my past with fishes have been. i love the beta, it has personality :p i'm thinking next semester in the dorms i'll get myself a big tank and dump more fishes in there, like tiger barbs and a shark.....hehehe.

One cat, Bella. Her siblings were named Ella, Stella, and Fella. Hey, my mom named them, not me!

Though I used to have 9 fish, a gerbil, five (other) cats, and we *want* to get a dog.
