That cartoon, along with Lippy the Lion and Touche Turtle, should get a major "Digitally Remastered" makeover. I've seen some of their shorts, and they need it...BADLY!

If they ever release Touche Turtle on DVD, I'll gladly get a copy! When Does Touche usually even air on Boomerang as I commonly just see it used to take up extra air time.

You obviously didn't see the follow-up story: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=5005
The plans for the WALLY GATOR and QUICK DRAW McGRAW DVD sets are currently on-hold because Warner Home Video was not happy with what they felt were slow sales of the HUCKLEBERRY HOUND and YOGI BEAR DVD sets late last year. The future of those sets (along with HUCK VOL 2) is unknown at this time.
MAGILLA GORILLA, HONG KONG PHOOEY and FLINTSTONES SEASON 6 are the only known H-B DVD sets known to be coming out later this year.

Maybe if they lowered the price on the Yogi and Huck DVD box sets, they'd get more people buying them.

Did the plans for this release call for just the Wally Gator shorts or also the Touche Turtle and Lippy the Lion cartoons that were also a part of the original HB show?
If they promoted the HB characters and their shows better, sales for the DVDs might improve. It wouldn't hurt Cartoon Network to show a Yogi Bear or Touche Turtle short every now and then instead of the constant stream of Anime that seems to have become the channel's main content.

You can find the sets between $30 and $35 - which isn't that bad for a 4 DVD set.
There are several reasons why Huck and Yogi didn't move volume. Part of it was they didn't get the shelf space. Why put them out at Christmas when the boxset rush is on? I didn't see them on the shelves. I ordered online to get the big discount.
Also these are cartoons that have been pushed over to Boomerang so they don't have the same amount of buzz among kids today. They don't have the "Mommy, Can I have...." factor.
