certain WB cartoons are aired on a specific show? For example, Gold Rush Daze is only aired on the Acme Hour while Wholly Smoke is only shown on Bugs and Daffy and the Looney Tunes show.

I don't know. Maybe CN feels that early one-shots are appropriate on the Acme Hour, and the starring character ones are appropriate on the LT programs.

In other words where saying Thad:

Bugs & Daffy and Looney Tunes Show was more a program where featuring early stars of Looney Tunes

Acme Hour where more for one-shot for WB and MGM cartoons.

Believe it or not, "Wholley Smoke" made it's first broadcast on CN on the afternoon edition of The Acme Hour in 2000. It never appeared on "The Acme Hour' after that. Once, "Wholley Smoke" was seen in its computer colorized version on LNB&W.

It used to be all the same, "Acme Hour" had an even mix of WB (usually a starring and one-shot) some MGM, and some redrawn Popeye. Now it seems to feature only WB and MGM one-shots, and I have enjoyed this format...but now that they're repeating everything that aired during the summer it bores me. Bugs and Daffy has always been a mostly 'star' character show, and the Looney Tunes show features all of it.

Actually, I never really even pay attention to the cartoon showings on CN any more, except for LNB&W and the Popeye Show.

Same as me, Thad, although I do tape the late Saturday/early Sunday "Tom & Jerry" program to see if any Mammy cartoons are broadcast. Although I have all of them in their original form, I like to see what they've done with the 'dubbed' versions...I find it very interesting...

By the way, Thad, have you gotten hold of Glenn yet? He's been waiting to hear from you...

Is there anyway you can tell between the 'black dubbed mammy' and the 'black mammy'?

I wish the UK had black and white cartoons as well :(

If the voice sounds newer, and more correct, it's dubbed. If it has a lot of incorrect prononciation, it's undubbed.
